The Affordable Connectivity Program
As of 11:59pm ET on February 7, 2024, customers can no longer enroll in the ACP. If you are an existing ACP household, you may transfer your ACP benefit to Cricket or from Cricket to other Service Providers. Please refer to the FCC’s website at fcc.gov/acp for more information about the status of the program.
The Affordable Connectivity Program is a federal government benefit program, operated by the Federal Communications Commission, that lowers the price of eligible service up to $30/mo., or up to $75/mo. on qualifying Tribal Lands. The benefit is not transferable to other consumers. Only eligible consumers may enroll in the program. Only one benefit is allowed per household and the benefit may only be applied to one service, regardless of service provider. If the program ends, you transfer your benefit to another service provider, or you are found ineligible for the program, regular Cricket Wireless plan rates will apply. Cricket reserves the right to remove the monthly benefit at any time. If your monthly service charge is $0 after the benefit, you must use your service every 30 days, or the benefit will be removed. The FCC has stopped accepting new applications and enrollments in the ACP as of 11:59pm ET on February 7, 2024. Currently enrolled ACP households may transfer their benefit. The ACP rules allow one ACP benefit transfer per month, subject to certain exceptions. If your benefit is removed for any reason after February 7, 2024, you will not be able to re-enroll.
