Here are some things you should know.

Mixed Calling Service

While we transfer your number, you may be able to make calls with your new Cricket phone or SIM card, but continue to receive calls on your old phone. This could last up to 4 hours.

Data & Messaging

Text, picture, and video messages usually work within 4 hours, but could take up to 8 hours. Data should work immediately. If you brought your own phone and data isn't working, you may need to update your settings manually.

Wait... Don't Cancel!

If you call your old wireless company and try to cancel the transfer, you will lose your phone number and have to call Cricket Support to get a new number and reactivate your service.

    When you order new Cricket service and request to transfer your phone number, you have 30 days to activate. After 30 days, we are required to cancel number transfers that have not been confirmed and we can no longer activate your service. For questions about your phone number, you'll need to contact your previous wireless carrier.

    We'd love to have you as a Cricket customer. Please call to speak to a Cricket Support Advocate for help.

    When you order new Cricket service and request a new Cricket phone number, you have 60 days to activate. After 60 days, your service expires and your request for a new phone number is cancelled. Unfortunately, we can no longer activate service using your previous order information.
