Alcatel PULSEMIX is rated 3.1 out of 5 by 56.
Rated 2 out of 5 by from Completely Trash. I bought this phone maybe 3 or 4 months ago and at first I admit Everything was perfect. But it just went downhill. First is that it freezes randomly. Whenever I press the power button to turn off the screen it will not go off. So I have to go the the settings just to reset it and it will take 5 minutes just so I can turn it back on. Second reason is that it will not take a charge! I have went through multiple chargers and the Pulsemix has ruined every last one of them. I have to bend my charger in multiple ways just so it can charge. I can let it charge through the entire night and it will be at 65%.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from You get what you pay for I'm not sure how this phone actually has 5 star ratings. From the time I received my phone I've had nothing but problems. The screen does this pixel thing that ruins everything. The pixels get so distorted that you can barely view videos or even read certain things. It constantly disconnects from my home WiFi and the processor is absolutely terrible. After a week or so it slows down completely. If you just need a phone to communicate, it's fine. You want to enjoy a smartphone to the fullest, I would certainly pass on device.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Bad bad bad phone I bought this phone bout a month ago and it's nothing but a headache. It will not stay connected to the LTE network always have to wait for it to connect to any apps.very very very slow speed. Alcatel made a very very bad phone and they should pull it off and refund people who purchases this phone. There's nothing good about this phone. By the way when you go to reset the apps it does nothing.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice phone with some fun and unique features I bought this phone to try to get my elderly neighbor (~75yo) to embrace technology. Unfortunately the phone only came with a quick start guide that was mostly useless. I was able to find a more through and comprehensive manual online and printed that one for him. If you happen to know of a better way to help him learn the phone, please let me know. Thanks!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from My First Non-Motorola Phone With Cricket Pros: - Decent quad core processor for the $30 transfer price. - Solid battery life under heavy gaming/video usage when combined with the optional power snapbak. Cons: - Weak internal sound quality and volume when using any type of headphone/earbud. - The speaker and power snapbaks are extra bulky and incompatible with any Pulsemix protective cases currently offered on the market.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Basic features don't work correctly I've had this phone for about 2 weeks and regret not spending a bit more for something more reliable. Incoming and outgoing calls do not connect properly, incoming call ringer frequently doesn't work, wifi feature cuts on and off, alarm for clock doesn't ring but the phone tells me that the alarm went off, camera is terrible, just to start. To get it to be generally funtional, I have to reboot once or twice a day. Save yourself the frustration and spend a little extra.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Very good Mid Level Phone! I have had this now for about two weeks. The phone is absolutely one of the best I have ever had. The last "high end" phone I owned was a HTC One 8 and this phone kicks it's booty! The last phone I had was a Samsung galaxy Prime Amp and it was a garbage... This phone is fast, has great looks and is on the latest version of Android. Lets hope that they will at least update it for one cycle and if that happens this will be a great phone for the price!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Getting compliments! Any time I'm out and I get a notification or call or anything and the cover lights up I get asked questions and lots of compliments (especially when I tell them the price). Only thing I don't like is that it drains the battery quicker than normal.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Worth the price for sure I bought this phone because I needed a cellphone with my job, don't get great cell signal in my rural area, and didn't want to pay a lot for monthly service I can't use. The phone is great, easy to use, great size, looks current. Two BIG problems. It has so many things preloaded that take up the limited space the phone has and can't be removed. Fortunately you can add a card for more memory, but that's an extra cost. The second much larger issue is the volume. The ringer and media are sooooo quiet that it's barely heard if there is external noise in the room. Even hooked up to my Bluetooth speaker it's barely as loud as my previous Samsung Note 3 was. Very disappointed in this as I have partial hearing loss. Even my spouse said it's extremely quiet, so I know it's not just me. I will have to spend more money now and hope the SnapBack speaker works.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Pretty good phone and GREAT introduction price!! I bought this phone when it came out and switch carriers and I couldn't be more satisfied... It was just what I expected and I came from iPhone se so I'm used to a smooth ride and this didn't disappoint... Just need more accessories is all but I give a 9/10

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Terrible Phone I honestly thought when I got the phone 3 months ago that it would be great, but I've had some problems with it since I brought it. The volume and notifications on my phone don't work. Whenever I watch a video or my phone goes off with any app notification, the volume/notification doesn't play. When that happens I'd have to reboot my phone and I have been doing that so many times since I got the phone. Another problem I have is the sound on my phone when I go to record a video, it makes a weird sound after I record it and play the video back. I feel as though I made a mistake by purchasing this phone and I sure as heck did. My word of advice, don't buy the phone unless you want to constantly reboot your phone and deal with that sound in your videos.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Snapbacks Great phone overall, great battery life speakers could have been at least as loud as the idol 4 but fall short thats why it lost a star.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Doesn't last long I've have this phone for a little over a month. And its bad. At first it was fast and great quality, now I can't use WiFi or it will turn on and off on it's own. You can't change battery. I did a factory reset still not working. Battery dies fast it froze and over heated. Keep deleting my apps. Gonna get a new phone.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great phone I Port my number from Verizon to Cricket and took advantage of the offer $30 for this phone, I sold my iPhone 7 waiting for the new one coming out now in September and this phone I got it two days ago and is great runs perfect battery life is good, the Bluetooth work Awesome in my car, the only thing negative about it is that speaker is a little low other than that I'm very happy with my purchase

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Does not work properly without restarting everyday The screen is stronger and the grip is OK but that's all that constantly works without restarting the phone everyday. The alcatel pulsmix will decided when it wants to work as in it will happily miss calls, texts, drop calls, refuse to stay connect to WiFi, and if you use the alarm to for anything it will not work unless you restart your phone everyday, and hope it still works. I've had issues since I bought this and my suggestion is skip this and go buy a different phone, my old galaxy amp prime was so much better and definitely reliable just needed better grip and stronger screen.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Volume⬇️ Special charger port does not use standard charger for Android devices. Volume on speaker mode is poor. Hubbie got same phone he has issues with control buttons, Cricket allowed exchange but not return. If you purchase return date is from day of receipt, not day activated. Im disappointed. Hubbie got it for is while I was out of town so now all I can do is exchange for another same model. Also been having connectivity issues but was "told service was out" in my area.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Phone is junk! After 10 days, the sound stopped working. Reboot to fix and then after a couple of hours sound stops again. I sent it back and the new one they sent is doing the same thing. Stick to LG, Samsung, or HTC.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Love it I bought this on the 3rd and haven't had a problem with it. I do have a little gripe that the snapbacks that they are a bit expensive, expensive enough that they won't show up in stores.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great phone for the price! This is a great phone for the price. It's sleek, durable, has a great display, good camera, and it's fast. Not much storage, but that's the only big tradeoff for the low price.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome for what it is! Ok, so I got this phone as an additional line for work and didnt expect much. But to my surprise the phone is working very well. Now its now iPhone 7 or one plus 3t buuuuut it doesn't have any weird issues so far. I text alit switching between calls and emails watching YouTube and listening to music. Battery life is decent too but the battery expansion would put you easily in to two plus days of use between charging. Now I wouldnt get this phone if you're looking for bells and whistles but for daily stuff and social media and music YouTube etc it works surprisingly well with little to no hiccups. I would recommend this phone for sure. I picked it up for 29.99 when I added a line to cricket but its worth the 79.99. Great for teenagers or kids phone and even an adult so good job Alcatel!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Ehhhh Well, I've had this phone just over 2 months. I've had an alarm set for work that didn't go off (yes, it was in the ON position) a couple of times... Over Thanksgiving weekend it "decided" to set the time BACK an hour.. ??? I've had to restart the phone after both these incidents. DO NOT like the pre-installed clock because you cannot individually set the volume or snooze times. It's all or nothing. I like to control the alarm that's going off at 4AM to be a bit quieter than the "get back to work" alarm I have set, lol. I did download a couple of apps which may be causing these problems, but with all the technology and upgrades, it really shouldn't cause any phone to have problems with apps. The phone is good other than that.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from LET DOWN! I bought this phone because it caught my eye. I was happy with it for the first week then it started acting up. Goes on and off by itself. I am really considering switching to another cell phone company.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Ok I had my phone less then two week and the sound keeps going out. It's not like a on and off sound block. It's more like a full video watch sound block. I would have restart the phone then sound come back. Without me using the sounds it would go back to mute and my Volume be way up.
