Rated 2 out of 5 by from Decent utilitarian phone with bad cover glass Bought it less than a month ago to replacing my aging Moto G. Battery is certainly a plus, though there is nothing else exceptional about the phone. Camera is barely adequate at best. Overall a solid device except in the literal sense. The problem is that the screen started developing tiny cracks after a couple weeks of use without me having dropped it or subjected it to any unusual stresses (temperature extremes, liquids, hammers, etc.). Sent it back to LG; will see whether they'll honor the warranty.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love this phone! Best I've ever had. Upgraded from Galaxy S6. This LG is much faster and 4500 battery lasts 2-3 days with heavy app use and browsing. Absolutely recommend.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not much different I was disappointed in this purchase. The connectivity to my bluetooth devices is plain awful. Both speaker and headset mode have mediocre sound that makes voices sound muffled mostly. The camera specs say 13mp front, but I'm not sure that is correct. It is not a bad phone, but I was really hoping it was comparable to the higher end phones. Good for the price but you get what you pay. Except the batter...best battery ever!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Horrible Very unhappy, speaker phone is horrible, no one can hear me because i fade in and out, this is also happening with same phone of a friends. Very unhappy with this phone. Had a LG Stylo before this and never had these issues. Would love a refund. Camera is not good either. Not sure how a newer phone can perform so poorly especially compared the an older model that actually works as it should. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 1 out of 5 by from no directions booklet! Every phone I've ever had had a booklet with details on everything & a 1 page pamphlet on the crucial stuff. This one had the pamphlet but not the booklet. Things like finding how to get to a key pad to dial a # or press keys to respond, or various settings will remain a mystery. Maybe kids have time to play with their phones but I just want to look it up to get there. So I can't honestly say anything posittive about the phone features because I don't know what they are!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love the battery life I can go 3 days between charges. I was concerned having a phone that the battery cant be changed. I hope it stays like that for 2 yrs. I like that it helps remove junk files that slow it down. Very happy with phone so far.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love it!! I bought this phone a few weeks ago and I love it. The battery lasts me for almost 2 full days. I am on and off my phone all day. But either way, the percentage goes down slower than my iPhone 7 I had. There's a few things I dislike, but I believe for the price, it's legit. 1) the auto brightness doesn't sometimes register how much light I have in my room - desk lamp (isn't like my iPhone). 2) the touch screen sometimes delays and when I press on an app or something it doesn't sometimes register. BUT doesn't bother me too much. 3) sound - I have seen videos and reviews about the sound, I agree to those who says it's poor. I feel that the sound could of been better on this phone. Especially since it's the next up from the X Power. But my overall judgement on this phone; I love it! Nice price. :)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from very good phone I bought this after my windows phone died. It's a great phone hardware anyways. I still like the Windows OS tho. Android is too fragmented you have to get an app for many things Windows builds into their system. Android does haVE MANY MORE APPS THAN WINDOWS oops hit caps. the phone works fast and is probaly an upgrade to my old nokia. plus i get wifi calling which is great as i don't get cell service at home.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Awesome Lower End Phone I was wanting to make the switch to Cricket but needed a new phone, I have always had battery life problems on phones so naturally this phone stuck out. After having lots of issues with ordering online, I decided to head to the Cricket store. I got my phone and account setup in about 45 minutes. Upon first using this phone, I was prepared to be blown away by insane battery life. While the battery is spectacular, it isn't so spectacular when you actually use it. Allow me to explain, if you're browsing Instagram, Facebook, checking your base on Clash of Clans, etc, the battery, expectedly, drains more quickly, but it drains more quickly than you'd expect is the issue. Not to say the battery isn't awesome, it's just that it's only awesome at "idle." Just today, I got up at 8:30am, weedeated in the hot sun until 3 or 4, bouncing in and out of coverage in the process, and my phone only dropped to 95%. WOW! Except I never even unlocked my phone...I just checked the time about 3 times. Looking at my battery percentage right now, as I'm typing this review, it's dropped 4% since opening the Cricket website. Still great, but not spectacular. Even with my slight let down concerning the battery, I think the quick charging saves it. It's not ridiculously fast but it's definitely not slow by any means! Now this is where my only real complaint comes into play...the display. This phones screen is large, the phone is also very tall. Almost too tall for the old "pinkie to rest, 3 fingers for support, thumb for use" technique. But that isn't my complaint. Is it the 720p rather than 1080p screen? No, the quality is nice! The problem is the brightness. The phone just doesn't get bright enough. I find myself constantly swiping down to turn it up a little, just to find out it's already maxed out. This makes use in sunlight a little difficult. Again, the screen itself is nice, but the brightness is just poor. The next LG X series phone needs about 20% more brightness. Seriously. The LG X Charge also comes equipped with Android Nougat (7.0), a 1.4Ghz Snapdragon processor, and 2gb of RAM. These specs were crucial to me upon choosing the phone. I think this phone would benefit substantially from a newer Snapdragon and maybe a half a gig more RAM, this would keep the phone from bogging down and draining the battery upon use. Not to say this phone isn't snappy, but you do notice you're on a lower end phone when you're swiping pages on the home screen, multi-tasking, or trying to play Pixel Racer with high graphics. Perhaps this is just an Android OS thing, but where the heck is the app drawer?! Every app just saves to my homescreen, forcing me to make a "stuff" folder with all the bloatware and stuff I don't use. Finally is the camera. This camera isnt something to brag about but it gets the job done. It's 13 megapixels, which sounds great on paper, but falls a tad short. The 5 megapixel front camera falls much shorter because photos look grainy, washed out, and just mediocre overall. Another thing I want to point out is that the stock camera apps pictures look lower quality for some reason. It also has the black empty spaces on the top and bottom in portrait mode. I use Snapchat and it somehow takes nicer pictures. This has NEVER been the case on ANY phone I've seen or used. Generally Snapchats pictures are worse, but somehow they atleast appear better on this phone. Overall, I give this phone a 4/5. It would be a 5 if it packed a tad bit more power under the hood and: --------->IF THE SCREEN WAS BRIGHTER<---------- But for the price, battery life and fast charging, it's well worth it. Reading back over my review, I realized I seemed a little critical of the battery, but it doesn't handle actual use as well as I expected. Me being a heavy user, I was a tad let down by this, but again, the fast charging makes up for this. I do recommend this phone if you're upgrading or switching, but look into the specs of your phone and compare it to this to make sure you're not downgrading.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Pretty Good Bought the phone 1 1/2 months ago. It's pretty good. Things to like,,,,,, price is good, speed is good, battery life is REALLY good for a smartphone, reaction time is good, coverage/reception pretty good, only LG phone I could use with Cricket Hotspot. Things not to like,,,,, could have more storage, does not like to connect to internet links, gotta copy and paste many times, notifications could be improved, camera does not have an auto pre-view option.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing phone!! I bought this phone about a week ago. I went from an iPhone 6s to this one and I was nervous because of the price being so low... But the price does not reflect the quality! This phone has a big clear screen, a beautiful camera that's actually a megapixel higher than my iPhone, a ton of internal space cor an Android, its super customizable, it allows you to add themes and adjust the keyboard size. Its wonderful. My favorite part is the BATTERY LIFE. I'm young, 20, I use my phone a LOT. Especially Instagram which is a huge battery drainer. But the battery lice lasts forever. For example: ive been on and off my phone all day, texting, phone call, settings, Instagram, camera, since 7:30 am. My phone is currently 83%. My iphone would have been at least 30% by now. This is a good phone. If youre nervous cuz you think you are downgraded, just so it.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great phone for the money We needed to replace our aging S5's and switch to the ATT network through Cricket. These phones are very similar to our S5's, and at a fraction of the cost of the newest Galaxy. The network has been great. The cell reception has been much better then our previous carrier who used T-Mobile's network. I worried after a few precious comments indicated trouble on calls cutting in and out, but ours calls have been crystal clear over the network and via wifi calling. The 16g internal storage is the same as the S5 was, but you can buy a larger micro sd card to more your pics and videos to. Unless I'm wrong, wifi is only 2.4 ghz and not 5, that was a minus from the S5 as it was dual. Bluetooth works well. There are lots of apps i dont use and can't delete, and some pop up ads which are annoying but easy to get around. Overall the switch has been positive so far after 3 weeks of use.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Good price but horrible camera Went from the G5 to this cheaper model and, as can be expected, it's not as good in a lot of ways...However, for the price i was willing to deal with it. But the dealbreaker for me is the horrible "camera" they put on this thing. I dont know if i can even call it a camera since i have yet to take a non-blurry picture. Seriously, i didnt even know a phone camera could be this bad. Ruins the whole phone for me. Returning it immediately.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Worse phone i have ever had I got this phone back in may thinking it was gonna be better than the one i had. I was excited bc if the battery. The battery does not stay charged for no 2 days. It doesnt even have a spot for a sd card. It also oes black and freezes worse than any phone ive ever hadm i would not recommend thos phone to no one. I cant wait till i upgrade.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Piece of garbage I waited to write my review until I'd had some time to use the phone. After a few months of using this horrible phone, I know that I hate it more and more every day. Oh, sure, the battery life is great if you remember to fully shut down every app when not using it and don't let it dowload updates unless it's plugged in. But if I forget to shut down wifi and all of my apps and go to bed with 99 percent battery, the phone will be dead by the time I wake up. If I disconnect from wifi to stop auto-updates and close all of my apps, then it will only use one or two percent battery in the hours while I sleep. Due to the battery issues, I can't trust this phone as an alarm. The alarm is also very very quite, even with the speaker face-up on the nightstand a foot from my head. The ringer is much louder than the alarm. The touchscreen is very slow to respond. This is made worse when trying to type in an app and can only be overcome by swiping words instead of typing them. I hate swiping words. I type with both thumbs. That's not possible with this phone. If you type too fast, it deletes the entire word or even whole strings of words, leaving only a single empty space for each missing word. If typing by tapping, like for a word that the predictive text of swiping just isn't getting right, it takes one whole second per letter to accpet them and not delete them. It is ridiculous. I hate typing on this phone. Texting or going on Facebook with this phone is a nightmare. Also, there is no using the internet while on a phone call. Apps will try to open, but they'll never fully load if you're on a phone call and trying to use the internet. Being connected to wifi doesn't matter, because it disconnects from wifi while on the phone call. There is no way that I have been able to find to back up my phone. When I had an iPhone, it was super easy to plug it into my computer and back up all of my info on my phone. This phone does nothing when I plug it into my computer. Even my blackberry from ten years ago did a download to my computer to let it communicate with my phone when the phone was plugged into the comuter. What a piece of trash that this one just lets me lose everything and has no way to back it up. Now, on to the camera. Another joke. My old iPhone had a camera with a "lower" resolution than this one, yet it takes crisper, clearer pictures. I needed to take a headshot photo that was at least 2Mp and this 15Mp camera could not produce one. The largest size photo I was able to take was 1.78 and that was with the rear camera in a well-lit room. The front camera ALWAYS takes super grainy photos. They are never clear or decent looking. I actually took my old phone with me on vacation as a camera because it takes better pics. I hate this phone more than any other phone I've ever had. I can't wait until I can afford to replace this piece of garbage.
