Rated 5 out of 5 by from This device is cheap, durable, and easy to use. I recommend this phone to anyone that's looking for a good, cheap, quality phone. I've dropped it plenty of times at work and it hasn't cracked or chipped anywhere. Battery usage gets me throughout the day perfectly, and it very easy to use and lightweight!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I love this phone!... But an alert alert. I've had two (the first one stopped recognizing my Wi-Fi & my SD card, so I returned it and the replacement did the same and my warranty has expired). But while my first one worked it was great and I loved it. I would like to try the same phone again but I'm leary if the problem will crop up again just wanted people to know of this problem and seems there's no solution. Now I have to buy a new phone because the warranty has Expired so no replacement allowed.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from This is a nice product I really like the graphics and size. It's not too big or small. So far the sound is good. There is only one thing I don't like and its the way the Windows are set up when opening multiple Windows. I had the core prime before and all you had to do was move the Windows over so th out closing them in order to see the home screen. On this phone you have to close them and reopen when you want to use them again. Otherwise it's a really nice phone for the price.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Broke in a few months Son had this phone for 5-months and it literally just stopped working one day. It was sitting on the counter and he picked it up and the screen went blank. Sent it to Samsung for warranty repair and they said the digitizer was cracked and it was not covered. They claimed we damaged the phone. You can in fact see some small scratches under the glass. It was not dropped and then stopped working. It was working fine one minute, then just stopped working.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Worst Phone Ever! I've had this phone since April 2016 and about a week after i got it, people could not hear me when i called them. I would dial the number and it would ring and the person would pick up and say hello...hello? and they couldn't hear me when I would say hello back. I took it back to the store where I bought it and they gave me a brand new phone. This one started to do the same thing not a week later. If you want a reliable phone do NOT buy this one.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from OK phone on a budget We bought 2 of these phones, one for my son & wife, they are kind of slow (with most things), example having a text conversation & sometimes it won't let you finish writing a text while another one is coming in. A lot of little annoyances that add up and make this phone undesirable (my son ended up smashing it & buying the Idol 3)

Rated 1 out of 5 by from If screen cracks phone is trash My first Samsung phone was a Galaxy Grand prime. The screen cracked severely but the phone could still be used. I was told the Galaxy Amp Prime had the same screen and glass. My first one the screen broke in my pocket and was toast. Second one somebody knocked the phone of of my hand and the same thing happened. Complete black and no way to recover anything. Plus the selfie camera sucks, it doesn't pick up lite and the pictures are dark on fuzzy

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome phone!!! Awesome phone!! Lots of great features. There are unwanted popup adds, haven't figured out how to disable them yet. I use my phone frequently checking emails, fb, talking on it, going thru all of the settings, etc. and have only ran the battery completly down once. Didn't find a user guide with it, so it has been a figure it out as you go type of phone. You can probably get a user guide online, but I prefer to press and see what happens.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Galaxy amp prime Generally I would recommend any Samsung product to anybody hands down. However the product I've gotten so used to it is yet to be seen on this phone. There is no NFC, MirrorLink, Android Beam, and most importantly screen mirroring. As well all the updates on Chrome or not available for this phone and you're gone the last version the Galaxy Grand Prime was a much better phone in my opinion however though it just may be due to Cricket branding

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This product has awesome features ! Where do I start? First off, this phone's internal memory is incredible! Especially with how inexpensive it was. Internal memory is 16gb. Which compared to the Galaxy Grand Prime which was more expensive is ×2. That alone was a big winner for me, being a gamer and all. If a phone cannot store enough games on its internal memory without using my sd card, would be a BIG NO NO. THANKS SAMSUNG for an AWESOME and AFFORDABLE phone! YOU GUYS ROCK !

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Decent phone 16GB device storage is a plus This was a gift for my 13 ( 14 in a few months) yr old son after his Galaxy Amp 2 broke& I let INS.lapse on his phone. At that time it used to be easy and affordable to get replacement phones in store. Not anymore. The prices have gone very high for basic phones , that is my main complaint. Also they never have a fair selection of phones in store. I am paying insurance on 2 of my phones on family plan. It was great when I routed over from a major company to Cricket a year ago, not great now. Over priced phones, hard to get the help needed, etc. As far as the Samsung galaxy prime yes it's a decent phone. But beware of the routing over, after a year not so satisfied with services that continue to rise in price. I hope Cricket fixes this issue, as a busy mom I don't have much time to spare looking for a satisfying company for a family plan of 4.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Outstanding Performer w/excellent battery life This phone surprised me with how well it performs. I consider myself a heavy power & data consumer. I run multiple large games on this phone. This phone has enough ram and processor speed to keep up with them all. It is the perfect size too. Not to big, not to small. The battery can easily last all day.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great phone for the price I bought this because of the price and pretty good reviews. It is a nice phone that is easy to learn and works perfectly. If I had one complaint it would be that there is not enough memory. I had to go buy some extra memory after a week. The phones memory is about 80% used up the day you get it. But seriously for the price of $49.00 it is a great phone and some extra memory cost me $20.00 more. Not to bad in my book.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great value! When the price dropped on this phone, I jumped on it! All phones should have 16 gigs of memory. 8 isn't enough! The processor is also a lot faster than most quad core processors. Still figuring it out, but I am sure it will last a long time. Very happy with this phone!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Easy set up, great use! Ive had the phone 2 weeks. I read all reviews before deciding to buy it. Some people complain that people can't hear you but the reason that happened to me was because in both instances I didn't dial the area code. So I dialed area code and NP . I use mostly for talk, text, Google searches, camera, all A+. Well worth the price. It was $29 on special, $35 month. No problems for basic usage. Sleek, looks expensive!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from No one can hear you, auto mutes itself (even when t I've had this phone for one and a half weeks it is cost me more problems that it is worth. I took the SIM card out of it and I threw the phone in the middle of the road and watch Cars run over it. That was more satisfaction that a refund. Do not buy this phone

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Good phone I purchased this phone about one week ago. It is a cute little phone, but, it is a bit smaller than my last one. The only other complaints I have is that the speaker is not loud enough. When on a phone call or checking voicemail, it is hard to hear when on speakerphone. Also, when playing videos, even though the volume is set to the highest setting, the volume is low.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Defective through Cricket Wireless I bought this phone new. 2 months later, when I make calls the person on the other end couldn't hear me. I did FIVE warranty exchanges! 3 of them, the outbound calls didn't work on the first call and sent them back the same day I got them. I asked the Warranty Rep at Cricket how many times will they exchange this defective phone, she said as many times as needed. I switched providers and got a J3 Emerge.
