Rated 2 out of 5 by from Screen broke within a week My son picked this out for his birthday. He wanted a phone for watching videos and playing music. Graphics are great and he is pleased with those features. However, the phone fell off his lap while seated in a chair and the screen broke on a corner. Very disappointed in the lack of durability of the screen. I had purchased the phone case recommended by Cricket online. Didn't help. Had a Moto G before with gorilla glass. Wish we had upgraded to another Motorola.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Unhappy It would be a great product if it had a better processor and better speakers... I have a hard time hearing through the earpiece unless in a quiet environment and the processor acting up is a big problem so I can't recommend it. ...this is my 2nd replacement as my first two Blades didn't work at all and Cricket customer service was a nightmare to deal with.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not what I'd hoped for I've had the device about 3 weeks. It great at first. Send to be slowing down some. I deleted all of the apps I don't want or need. I keep it as bone stock as possible. The battery is great. At the end of the day I still have 50% usually. Camera is very subpar. The finger print scanner tho has been flawless. I'd say it's worth it's price. My personal opinion is the 2gb of ram just isn't enough. I did add a high speed 32gb SD card for added storage.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Blaze X max Sucks! Dont get this Phone! This is my second phone. First one didn't work out the box. It couldn't read SD card. Slot was not working. Second one the Bluetooth drains my battery in a few hrs. Like 4. And when I send text messages it says not sent! And the phones freezes and goes black. Couldn't use my phone for 9 hrs because of this. I so do not like this phone., buyer beware! Phone needs a Bluetooth fix asap! If you read reviews a lot of people complain about the same thing!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from IT FREEZES... AND FREEZES... AND FREEZES! I have had this phone for 3 weeks. It is nothing more than average. It freezes A LOT... for nothing! Opening a website- It freezes... Playing a game- It freezes... and so on and so forth. I would have gotten a Galaxy as I normally do, had I known that this would be an issue. It's annoying. Nice, big display when it is working though.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Love it This is my second ZTE phone. My first one was the ZTE Grand Max Plus. Which was a great phone. Still working till this day. But got the Samsung S6 on a great deal, so I switch to that one. Was working fine until I went into the pool and my phone was in my pocket. Went into the store and saw this one. I fell in love it right away. The process is great. The storage is also great. I download a lot of apps. I'm a tech guy and use my phone for work. Display is crisp. I work the battery a lot, but I can go almost most of the day with just one charge. Fantastic. I will from now on stay with ZTE. The only reason I don't give it 5 stars is because when I try to make a call, it takes some time for the call to take place. I managed to find another app for dialer, which seemed to resolve the problem, but other than that. Great phone. I recommend it

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Worst phone ever Whenever I play music or videos the phone pauses randomly. It can pause after 5 secs or 5 mins I never know. Next the keyboard constantly closes itself while I am writing. And I found out this morning my alarm stopped working it's set but doesn't go off. It's a big phone with cool features but doesn't work how it is supposed to.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from So far good phone. There are a couple things that I didn't like. For instance, the photo gallery takes about 15 to 20 seconds to load, I am having a difficult time sending photos that I see, but tells me they are hidden, I do not like where the home and task manager are positioned. I do however like the battery life, the big screen, the clear photos and extra apps to touch up photos. Over all I like the price and I like that my bill is not so expensive.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Everything you need in a small package! This phone, for the most part, seems to handle everything I throw at it. There is a little stutter, but it's not noticeable if you've never owned a Note 5. It's been about a week now, its holding up. Battery lasts pretty long. The main speaker that allows you to be on speakerphone, and plays the ringtone, seems a little cheap..It cracks when my ringtone plays(moonlight sonata). I don't really use speakerphone,so it's not really a problem.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Worst ever This phone suck so bad.... It freezes and will not open certain apps. It lags so much. I regret purchasing this phone! I should have listened to the reviews! Camera quality is good.... But because it lags and doesn't open some apps.... Its useless.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Don't waist your money in this hyped up garbage The only good thing about this phone is the camera and storage... 2 hours after I took it out the box it froze up and hard to hard restart it... Freezes up all the time at least 4to5 times a day I have to hard restart it... Apps just open and close on there own... At times 4 apps are all trying to open at the same time (example turn on the screen go to open facebook, and facebook don't open because all a sudden, by me opening facebook the screens flash everything else other then facebook with like contacts, the phone screen the keyboard eat... Ect... Ect... Then you have to hard restart to stop it) causing the phone to go crazy and the only way to stop it is to do the hard restart.... Can't type on the thing with out the keyboard closing, then you have to back out close what you where doing, stop the tasks just to open messenger up again to try to type again before the minute is up before it does it again.... Video player can't play a video... Get two seconds then it stops, you have to unpause it only for it to go another 2 seconds before it stops again... Phone is a hundred and fifty dollar piece of trash... My advise don't choose this one...

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Still not sure about this phone I bought this phone yesterday as a replacement to my broken Samsung Grand Prime. I had some issues with ZTE phones in the past so I was cautious. Within hours, this phone froze for over 30 minutes before it would allow a manual restart, then it got very hot. Later on it ramdomly shut down and restarted on it's own and all my customized pages where defaulted back to the original phone defaults. The phone is fairly large and all touch screen. If you are used to a smaller phone, this may be an issue. If you are used to a Samsung, you may have a harder time navigating the settings. I still haven't found a way to use a custom ringtone (and the phones included selection is not that great) and I do not see a place to customize a ringtone for specific contacts. Make sure to inquire about an additional USB charger if you normally use a standard Android one. The plug-in seems to be a different size. The bonus of the phone is the large memory storage and has a decent screen resolution and photo editor. I would recommend this phone based on price if someone needs something due to cost.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love it! I broke my iPhone 6 plus, and wanted a cheap but nice phone. I walked by Cricket one day and asked for a nice size phone, because I love watching my shows while on the go. I was introduced to the ZTE Blade X Max, and fell in love with it. The way it feels, the features it offers, don't think I'm rushing to fix my Iphone. This is better and the right price if you ask me, and they have beautiful cases for this phone. Bye iPhone hello ZTE

Rated 3 out of 5 by from ZTE Blade X Max So have anybody figured out the problem with the phone rebooting itself and shutting down, Backing out of Apps and programs on its on? What have you all done to solve this issue? Got another phone or just kept it? Can someone help me with this before the 7 days past where I can't take it back?

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Don't buy it or you will regret it. Since I bought the phone, it has been very slow but now all the updates, I have to restart my phone almost every 10 to 15 minutes to be able to use it. My camera will only take one picture per restart after which it will freeze. You can not remove the battery which makes restarting more difficult. Holding power bottom down for 10 to 15 seconds to force restart. I have never regretted buying a phone like I do with this phone.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Save your money Two Cricket rep's talked me into buying this phone because they were out of the phone I originally wanted. This is the worst phone I have ever owned. The phone is slow, freezes constantly and resets itself for no reason and the camera takes sub-par photos. I wish I would have waited for the LG 3 now I'm out 179 bucks after purchasing a case and screen protector.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Disappointed/Junk From the moment I got it out of the box it was giving me problems with double taps & freezing up. I tried to overlook those little problems, but after a month the phone locked & wouldn't restart.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Cant beat it for the price$ Really good performer over all some apps do freeze up but for the most part it the phone runs apps from the market very smoothly. The camera is good takes decent pictures. Sound quality is good just change to different audio selections under sound in the settings menu the Dolby audio is good. screen is very good for the price the only issue I have is from time to time while watching a YouTube video in HD the picture will go black and you have to reload it. Battery life is pretty good I've a music all day person I watch video while on my breaks and it lasts until I get home then I have to throw it on the charger after a few hours it does charge pretty fast love the USB c. people with smaller hands will have issues with one handed use although the native apps do adjust like the dialer and the keyboard. Overall really good phone for the price really glad I spent the money on it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great features I've now had this phone about 6 months. It's a great phone. I've never had any of the freezing or turning off and on problems that others have reported. Love the large screen and the fingerprint scanner works great. 32 gb storage is plenty for most people and you can add an SD card if it isn't enough. It doesn't have NFC and only has 2 GB ram. If the phone had more ram and NFC it would be the perfect phone.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Phone! I had the HTC 1 M8 but it was starting to give me problems. So I decided to try the ZTE Blade out. Had it for about A week. It started out good. Then apps to freeze up on me often. Another thing is I use Snapchat alot and when I go to record a video, the sound is weird and it ruins the video. Overall it's a great phone but there's a few things that needs to be fixed. Thinking about trading but I don't know.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Terribble phone We bought this about a month ago and it has got to be the worst phone ever. It like to dial people while just sitting next to you. It freezes constantly. It closes apps that you may be in playing games or reading. It hangs up on conversations that you may be in the middle of. This is the worst Android phone ever!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Phone 7.1.1 was recently pushed to my phone. The battery life was dramatically improved. The screen, speed, responsiveness of the UI all work well and are very fast. My only complaint is the loud audio when recording video (such as a rock concert) is not very good compared to some other phones I have had. Compared to other much more expensive phones, this is a wonderful device and better than most of them.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from worst phone Ever Bought this phone 2 months ago. The software glitches from the previous model were supposed to have been fixed. Not fixed yet. Changes wallpaper on its own. Calls contacts on it's own, and disconnects calls and goes to voicemail on its own. Browser freezes up.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Has not disappointed me, I have had this phone for approximately 3 weeks and I have had no problems at all with it. Call quality is good and I have been able to run multiple apps at once with no problem. I was leery of this phone because of some of the reviews, but then I saw that a software update seemed to fix most of the issues. My only "complaint" is that I have to turn on the bluetooth each time I get in the truck.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from great phone at cheap price This phone is hard to beat if your after a big 6 inch phone. I came from a nexus that died and this phone is better. Good screen, latest level Android 7.1.1 and good battery life. So far after 1 week very pleased with it.
