ZTE Blade X is rated 2.9 out of 5 by 75.
Rated 1 out of 5 by from Terrible I bought this phone like 3 months ago. It absolutely positively sucks. It's a piece of garbage. The phone quality is terrible. Whenever I'm talking to someone on the phone they complain that they can't hear me and that it sounds like I'm in a tunnel. I don't get half of the text messages that people send me. I'm always wondering why i don't hear a response. It's because for some reason I'm not receiving my incoming messages. Which can be very stressful and cause problems. This phone sucks i would not recommend it to anyone. I'm thinking about switching to metro pcs.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Did not work for me Believe it or not EXACTLY 4 hours after activating this brand new phone, the sound went completely dead. The folowing morning the sound returned for 10 minutes then went off again.Sound, eg, ring tone, notification, video returned for 2 min then went off again.I did everything possible to no avail. I have reported the matter and will be returning this phone back to cricket, as per their policy. SOOO dissappointed.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from great phone really like this phone ..some of the reviews are for the blade x max not the blade x..the blade x so far works just fine no problems and love the 5.5 size screen bought this phone upgrade for 49.99 during the holiday sales... good price for a great phone..

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great phone at a great price I bought three of these phones. I pretty much run my business off of mine. I do recommend a quality case and as high memory SD card as you can get. I never drop calls, no freezing, no sluggishness. I definitely recommend this phone to my friends.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great size and features I've had this phone for a few weeks now and so far it has been good. The fingerprint scanner is an excellent feature and works well. The size is perfect - big enough to read emails and web pages, but not so big it won't fit in my back pocket. Call quality is very good and it works reliably. My only complaint is that some apps crash repeatedly, but that is not necessarily due to the phone.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Ok phone ehe~~~ I guess Just over priced! If it were $49.00 for and upgrade and free on a port in, the quality would be acceptable at the price point. But at $129.00 and up, the quality isn't worth the price. I bought it when it was $159 and I was satisfied until Cricket's competitor got a ZTE phone with similar specs, way better camera and made it free on the port-in. Cricket(AT&T) and ZTE gotta do better with bring high quality at the budget friendly price. The 6 inch screen is great for media consumption. The Fingerprint reader is great and has good options. The 32gb of onboard storage with 128gb of expandable storage via micro SD card for a total of 160 GB of storage is great. The camera is horrible. Picture/Audio/video 2***. If you only talk, text and view social media, you'll enjoy this phone. I recommend it. If you're the one that's always posting pictures andvideos to social media, this isn't the phone for you.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from DO NOT PURCHASE!! Bought as a present for my son. He had the phone 5 days and the entire screen went black, and it won't factory reset. No damage done at all to the phone. Once I started looking online for ways to fix the only option was factory reset, which the phone will not do. Apparently from reading while trying to find a solution to fix, ZTE phones freeze up all the time. Went to a Cricket store, and was told "sorry, contact ZTE directly."

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good for the low price!!! I had to get a new phone due to my ZTE Grand 2 Max battery took a dive..I was one of the only persons who never had. Issue with it.. so I stuck to ZTE. This one so far has been a good phone.. battery life go's for a day and a half!!!! It very responsive and I have had absolutely none of the issues that ither folks have been having.. it's a 79.00 buck phone.. Don't expect the performance of a 1000.00 phone.. it takes good pics, no issues with phone calls or being heard on the other end.. I am very happy with it and recommend it to those who just want a basic smart phone.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Takes the "smart" out of "smart phone" I got this phone because it was advertised to have gorilla glass. It must've been a baby gorilla because the screen almost makes content unreadable with how shattered it is after falling off of my lap. The battery life is the best quality of this phone, but you will find it drains quite quickly as it locks, unlocks, and restarts itself regularly. The thing feels like a worse version of any other Android I've ever had. It isn't smooth.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Freezing The phone freezes constantly. It's probably related to the Cricket software loaded on the phone. I had the same phone with Metro PCS and no issues.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Hate this phone My last ZTE was great but this one not so much. Freezes up frequently. Battery power doesn't last. I'm really disappointed with this phone and don't think I'll be buying another ZTE in the future.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from ZTE Blade X "bad" I brought this phone two weeks ago and seems to have lots of issues. When I call someone from this phone and the other person can't hair me unless I put it on speaks. Phone keeps freezing up and slow. The battery is good and it has plenty of space for storage.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great phone but got got scratched to easy. I recieved this phone about three days ago i absoulety love it. Its fast, good quality for recording videos and the games look decent and i havent recieved a single lag the finger sensor is very responsive and i love it. Today my bro grabbed my arms to "slam" me when i had my phone in my hands so it fell once since i had, after that one fall it ended up with a J like scratch on the phone. You recieve 7gbs out of 16gb its a upgrade from the last phone i had. The battery is amazing. I use to have a zte sontana 3 at the end of my school day it would be only be on around 20 percent (medium usage of course) this phone at the end of the school day is on 53 percent i like this phone my only complaint is it got scratched easily. i recomend this phone, and i might buy another one or get the screen replace later down the road on a scale 1-10 i give it a 9.5

Rated 1 out of 5 by from THROW IT IN THE GARBAGE! I bought this phone as an upgrade (or maybe a downgrade) when my LG was running out of storage. I thought I was getting a good sufficient phone that would be easy to work and use. It is not that at all! The first issue right away was dropping calls. My other phone had full bars at my home (rural). I have a cell phone booster and with my LG phone and my husbands flip phone from another carrier we get a great signal at home. I'm lucky if I get one bar. Secondly, when having a phone conversation the other person cannot hear you, I'm assuming its because of the terrible signal strength. I've called Cricket to get help with this issue. They say the only thing they can do is some sort of software update. So we did it, no changes. Then last night I stopped in at a cricket dealer and they said the same thing. They could only get one bar in the middle of the city, no different from where I live. BTW they said it's not the phone signal. I have never seen this phone get anymore than 3 bars of signal. No matter where you are is always gets 1 bar. I also have my volume cranked up to the maximum and I have a hard time hearing during a phone call. I have to put it on speaker phone to hear the other person. I have not had issues with the phone freezing up but I have however had the issues with it closing apps for no reason. I asked the cricket representative what to do and they said cut your losses and buy another phone! Run far away when they offer you this phone, its a piece of junk. For having it less than 1 month I now have to upgrade and pray that I don't get another defective phone. Not to mention, losing more money in the process :(

Rated 5 out of 5 by from No freezes the blade x "max" freezes Great camera! I havent tried the fingerprint sensor. I was guided by Cricket workers to get this phone instead of the blade max. For the people that are putting low end ratings on the phone. The users are thinking of the blade x max. It freezes and reboots itself. I was told this at the cricket store as well. I would recommend this model to anyone that wants the new Android os too. Only cons i have are the space and price point..

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great value Great screen and function. Puzzled by some of the negative reviews. Mine works very well and laugh when people with iPhones have to borrow mine in the basement of a hospital to make calls.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome Phone I bought my ZTE Blade X from Cricket almost 2 mths ago. I have not had any of the problems mentioned in all the bad reviews. This phone is great, an the first time I ever have purchased this brand. I am normally a Samsung person. Im very happy with my choice.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not so great Display is really not all that bright hard to see when its really sunny camera sucks I dont know how it is 13mp video recording sucks takes a while to focus also if there is barely any noise when recording it sounds so distorted so forget about recording any music while your snapchatting. Only good things about this phone are the battery lasts a rrally long time also phone ia really thin and light weight.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Don't buy this phone This is the worst phone ever. Always freezes. They should not sell. Too bad that my 7 day are over to return it. They should give you 30 days to really see how the phone works and if it is a good fit.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great phone for the money After having an iPhone I had struggled to find a decent phone. This one was definitely sufficient for everything that I needed and for better than the previous phone that I had. The operating system works great and the features are pretty decent. I like the fingerprint. Only down is the camera, not quite as good as my iPhone was but it works.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from APPS DISAPPEAR AND PHONE FREEZES OFTEN THIS PHONE SUCKS. What sold me on it was the 32gb of space and the price being $99. The camera is probably the only thing I like about it. Text messenger, FB messenger, Facebook, just to name a few all just close when you're using them. The phone freezes during regular use as well as when I take a picture. In dimmer situations I snap a photo and it says "night mode enabled" and the phone is just frozen everytime. It's so annoying. I had an Alcatel idol 3 which was a better phone. Sure the camera was not great, but it had way better performance all around. I had to "upgrade" because the battery was bad and was hard to charge and turn on as the buttons we're failing. I couldn't take the ZTE back because I left out of town and didn't bring the receipt and original packaging with me. I'm stuck with this phone for the near future. SUCKS.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Would not reccomend This is the worse phone i have ever owned. it is slow it has a mind of it's own. It types on it's own when you open up messenger or text messaging. you have to shut the phone off and turn it back on two to three times before it will stop. the touch screen is not very responsive in order to get into things you have to keep touching the screen to get the phone to open. when you are in an app the phone kicks you out.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great camera! Just got it a day ago, and so far I'm loving it! My photos are amazing, and I can transfer pretty much anything to my microSD card again. The battery life was what I expected, but if I don't like it I know I still have 7 days from the day I bought it to exchange or return it. Great deal with a great service!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Worst Phone EVER! My flip phone from 2006 was more functional than this phone. It sucks in so many ways- HORRIBLE picture quality. Awkward size. Never remembers what its doing- you could be watching youtube then go back to another page and it reverta back to what you searched an hour before yout youtube video. Do NOT get this "phone" ! It never should have been created.
