Want to upgrade your old phone but need to save money? Cricket Wireless makes it easy with our Trade Up program. Trade in your current cell phone and get the new phone you want without breaking the bank.

How Device Trade In Works:

If your current phone powers on and has a working screen, you may qualify for a credit towards the cost of a new Cricket phone. Go to your Cricket store to get a quote for the trade-in value of your phone. If you trade it in, you can immediately apply the credit toward a new Cricket device?and possibly some accessories too.

Already a Cricket customer and looking to upgrade your old Cricket phone for a new device? You can also trade in a cell phone and use the credit when you add a line to your account. Visit your local Cricket store and go to the Trade Up wall. Follow the instructions and scan the QR code?or just ask a Sales Advocate!

Make, model and condition of the phone. Any wireless phone can be traded up, but not all will be eligible for a credit.
No, just the working phone. We'll take care of the rest.
Yes. It just needs to power on and the screen needs to be working.
There's no limit, but credits for devices traded in can only go towards new devices and accessories. You can't use credits for device trade ups towards your monthly services.
No problem. We can recycle it for you if you'd like.
No, credit can only be applied to the purchase of a new Cricket device or new accessories. You must use all of your credit at once.
You are. You must remove all personal or confidential information from your phone before trading it in. This includes your contacts, calendar, photos, messages, and call history. It also includes email, text messages, videos, and web browsing history. Have personal, confidential or sensitive information on your device? You must remove that, too.

You can easily transfer your data with Content Shuttle, then safely remove all information from your phone. You must also remove the SIM card and memory card, if applicable, from the device and perform a factory reset of the device before trading it in. Clover Wireless is the company that is purchasing the device from you in exchange for a credit to be applied to an in-store equipment purchase. All trade-up transactions are final.
Clover attempts to clear all personal data when they receive the device at their processing facility. Reusable phones will be re-marketed. Non-working phones will be recycled according to federal, state, and local laws. Clover Wireless is ISO 14001 registered.
No, not at this time. You can only trade up phones.
