HD Voice technology delivers high-quality voice calls across Cricket's 4G LTE network. Customers with HD Voice will experience clearer voice quality and reduced background noise. You can talk in a normal voice and be heard clearly even in noisy environments. Conversations will sound more natural, almost as if the person at the other end of the line is right there next to you. And with HD Voice, you can talk while surfing at 4G LTE speeds. 4G LTE and HD Voice are not available everywhere.
Both you and the person you're calling must be on a Cricket plan and Cricket HD Voice-capable devices. The call must be made over Cricket's 4G LTE network or a compatible network.*
HD Voice uses wide-band audio technology and noise cancellation. That means voices sound more natural and you'll hear much less background noise compared to standard voice calls.
Cricket supports HD Voice calls between Cricket customers using Cricket HD Voice-capable devices. The call must be made over Cricket's 4G LTE network or a compatible network. In some cases, other carrier's networks may interoperate with Cricket's 4G LTE network to support an HD Voice call.
If you or the person you are talking to leave an area covered by Cricket's 4G LTE network during an HD Voice call, your call will automatically switch to our standard voice service.
You'll need an HD Voice-capable device to get HD Voice service. HD Voice-capable devices are designed to enhance voice quality and cancel background noise. View device list >
*Cricket's 4G LTE coverage is not equivalent to its overall network coverage. HD Voice calls made on a compatible device on Cricket's 4G LTE network may not experience an HD Voice connection during times of network congestion. Other carriers' networks may interoperate with Cricket's 4G LTE network to support an HD Voice call.
