Once my FREE trial ends, what does Deezer From Cricket cost, and how do I pay?

Deezer From Cricket is only $6/month after the free trial period, billed to your Cricket account just like any other monthly recurring feature. Once you've signed up for the Deezer Free Trial, you'll be automatically billed $6/month unless you remove the Deezer feature from your line. If you have Auto Pay turned on, the $6/month will be added to your monthly charges and billed to your Auto Pay card.
 

How can I add Deezer when I upgrade to a new phone?

You can't add the free trial of Deezer From Cricket during the upgrade process, but you can still take advantage of this offer if you haven't used it already. As soon as you activate your new device, just come back and sign in to My Account online or the myCricket app to add your free trial of Deezer.
 

How can I get the longest free trial available to me?

If you are a new Cricket customer or an existing Cricket customer, sign up for Deezer when there 14 days left in your billing cycle. That way you will get a free trial that covers the last 14 days of your billing cycle plus the entire next month.


I canceled my paid Deezer account. How do I resubscribe and get unlimited, ad-free music on demand?

If you remove Deezer From Cricket, you will no longer have access to the full-feature music service. You'll still be able to use the free, ad-supported version of the app, but you won't be billed $6/month, and you won't be able to listen to your playlists or downloads unless you resubscribe to the paid feature.

Just before your free trial ends, we'll send you a reminder that your next month's service total will include a $6 charge for Deezer From Cricket. Can I share my Deezer From Cricket playlists with friends?

Yes, as long as your friends also have Deezer From Cricket, you can send them your playlists within the app. You can also share tracks with your friends that have Deezer and post your listening status to your social networks.
 

Can I download and store songs to my smartphone?

Absolutely! One-touch downloads are quick and easy. Just select Download to store your favorite tracks, albums or playlists on your device.

I signed up for the free trial in a store or via Customer Care, but I forgot to answer the text message you sent me confirming I want the trial added to my Cricket account. Will I lose the free trial? Can I still confirm?

When you sign up for the free trial of Deezer From Cricket in a store or via Customer Care, we will send you a text message immediately (or as soon as your device is activated if you are getting a new phone) requesting you confirm your order. If you have deleted the text, you can confirm at dzr.fm.cricket. You can answer any time up to five (5) days before your trial period ends. If you have not responded by this time, the Deezer From Cricket feature will be removed from your account. You will no longer be able to use your free trial, but you can add the paid version of Deezer for only $6/month.
 

How do I create a playlist or add songs to an existing playlist?
 
To create a playlist in Deezer:
  1. Search for the song or album you want to add to a playlist.
  2. Tap the three vertical dots to the right of the song or album: three vertical dots
  3. Tap Add to Playlist
  4. Select an existing playlist or create a new playlist by tapping New Playlist.
  5. If you're creating a new playlist, enter a playlist name and tap OK.
  6. That's it - your playlist has been created!

How do I delete an album, playlist or artist from my library?
 
To delete a favorite track, album, playlist or artist from your Deezer library:
  1. Go to My Music in the Deezer app. 
  2. Tap the category you're looking for: Tracks, Playlists, Albums or Artists
  3. Tap the three vertical dots to the right of the song, playlist, album, or artist: three vertical dots
  4. Select Delete playlist.

To delete all of your synced music (this may vary by device):
  1. Go to Settings
  2. Select the Deezer From Cricket app
  3. Under Disk Usage, select Clear All
  4. Select Clear on the pop up message to confirm you want to delete all the data synced for offline mode.
  5. Now you can start fresh by creating new playlists and searching for new tracks to add to your playlists!
     

I just changed phones. Can I transfer my downloaded music on my new phone?

Yes, here's how:

  • Sign in to your account in the Deezer app
  • Tap the Settings icon next to your name in the left corner of the screen and then tap Settings
  • Locate your previous phone and tap Unlink This Device
  • Link your new device by logging into Deezer on your new phone


Deezer used a lot of data this month. Can I change how much data is used?  

In order to use less cellular data you should listen and download over Wi-Fi whenever possible.
 

My music is taking up too much storage space on my phone. Can I change the size of downloaded music?

Deezer provides three preset options to optimize the balance between data management and audio quality. Higher-quality audio tracks will require more storage space and data. To change these settings:

  • Tap Menu from the Deezer app
  • Tap Settings
  • Select Audio Settings to manage audio quality settings
