What is a Multiline account?

A multiline account is simply a Cricket customer account with 2 or more active phone lines on the same account.

What if I already have two or more separate accounts and want to combine them?

To combine accounts, you'll need to call or chat with a Cricket Support Advocate.

What happens to my billing cycle when I add a line?

Your due date will not change. When you add a new line of service to an existing account in the middle of a billing cycle, you'll pay a full monthly payment for your new plan and any features. You'll get a prorated credit for the unused days of the first partial month at the start of the next billing cycle. Learn more about billing cycles

What happens if I can't pay for one of my lines?

Payment for all lines is due on the final day of your billing cycle (your due date). If you don't make a payment for the entire outstanding balance on your account by the end of your billing cycle, all lines on your account will be suspended.

How do I manage my data allowance per line?

Cricket lines do not share data. Each line has its own high-speed data allowance and should be managed individually. Each line is subject to the applicable rate plan terms and conditions for that line.

What is Group Save?

With Cricket's Group Save discounts, you can save up to $70 each month when you add eligible lines to your account.

Existing customers, heads up: As of Nov. 5, 2017, we made changes to our Group Save discounts. When you change your plan, add a line, cancel a line, transfer a phone number to another carrier, or restore a canceled line, your discounts on lines 4 and 5 will be reduced to $20 each. In that case, you will begin receiving the new Group Save discounts on eligible plans at the start of your next billing cycle.

How does Group Save work?

New and existing customers in good standing with at least two (2) eligible lines of service on one account will receive Group Save discounts. Multi-line discounts cannot be combined with Auto Pay credit or other promotional discounts. Only eligible lines two through five on the same account receive the monthly discount.

What is an eligible line of service?

Lines with a plan starting at $40/mo are eligible for Group Save discounts. Lines with the $25 plan, the $30 plan or the discontinued Tablet plan are not eligible.

Note: The Auto Pay credit is not available with Group Save multi-line discounts or select offers including the Cricket Unlimited Plan discount.

How much will I save?

  • 1st Eligible Line: No Discounts
  • 2nd Eligible Line: $10 Monthly Discount
  • 3rd Eligible Line: $20 Monthly Discount
  • 4th Eligible Line: $20 Monthly Discount
  • 5th Eligible Line: $20 Monthly Discount

The maximum monthly discount is $70 when you have five (5) eligible lines on your account.

How do I add Group Save lines?

If you are a new customer, you can place an online order for up to five lines. Choose Group Save eligible plans with each line and watch your savings add up. If you need additional lines, you can add them one at a time (up to nine lines total per account) after you activate your service.

If you are a current Cricket customer who is adding a new line to your existing account, you can only order one line per transaction online. If you need additional lines, you can add them one at a time (up to nine lines total per account) after you activate service on your first new line. Can I get the Auto Pay discount on my Group Save account?

No, the Auto Pay credit does not apply to accounts receiving a Group Save or promotional discount.

Do we have to have the same billing address?

Yes, one billing address must be used for all lines that are part of Group Save.

Can someone else view my account information?

You and any subscribers under the same account who are properly authenticated will have the ability to make account changes and access account information for all lines of service; including, but not limited to, Customer Proprietary Network Information (CPNI), payment information, and profile information.
Someone else can also make a quick payment without logging in to your online account.
