Rated 1 out of 5 by from I HATE this phone My brother convinced me to switch over from AT&T to Cricket. WORST mistake ever. Since he's never complained about his phone, I thought I'd get the same one. Within the first week of purchasing this expensive phone, I was already experiencing problems. Sometimes I can't receive messages from my friends. Other issues include the phone freezing up at random times, switching apps whenever it wants, and now my phone has cut off and wont come back on. I have never experienced any of these issues with the ZTE Zmax 2 which was with AT&T. I have no way to contact Cricket because MY PHONE WONT COME BACK ON!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from iPhone/Galaxy quality for a fraction of the price I first saw this phone the day it was launched in a Cricket store. My fiancee showed it to me and I instantly loved it.I purchased it three days later. As of my writing of this review, I am thoroughly pleased with it. The good: -The1920X1080p Full HD display provides superb visual quality -The screen glass is extremely durable. Resisting scratches even when placed in a pocket with keys and coins -The 13MP rear camera gives photos excellent clarity and dynamic range -Its UI design makes it easy to navigate essential features -The extreme amount of expandable memory it supports means you will never run out of storage -The audio quality of calls is exceptional -Fine touch controls are snappy and responsive .I'm sure there's more that I haven't discovered yet The bad: -Some customization and personalization features present in previous ZTE phones have been scrapped -Fingerprint security features require a combination of fingerprint plus pattern, pin, or password, which hampers expediency in unlocking the phone In my opinion, the pros by far outweigh the cons, and I would highly recommend this phone to any prospective purchaser. You will not be disppointed

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent Phone I bought my phone about six months ago. It has more memory than most Android phones which means more storage and you can have a lot of apps on it. The camera has awesome resolution, I have had several people ask me what kind of phone I had with the quality of pictures they saw from my screen. Yes I have had a few freeze ups usually because I'm in a hurry to jump from one app to the next. With a lot of the complaints on this phone I'm almost certain things go wrong because of user error. Like you have to clean out apps and files you don't use to keep it from running slow or freezing up also.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Hate this phone! Can't play my music, YouTube, Pandora... Ect. The videos just stop. Have to go in and hit the play button. Sick of it. Can't even enjoy one song without it booting me out. Then in the middle of texting, the keyboard just goes away. So I have to bring that back up to finish my text or search. I liked my other ZTE phone. Not this one

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Have had 2 Blade phones in one week! The first Blaze I obtained from the store kept freezing on me in the middle of whatever I was doing. Returned it. Second line has froze some but now it keeps shutting off and restarting on its own. Very frustrating because this is the 3rd ZTE Phone we've owned, for a total of six phones. It's even more frustrating because if the time it takes to download all of the apps, get them organized into folders and then to have to do it a 2nd, maybe 3rd time?

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great phone I bought the ZTE Grand Max Blade X about one week ago, and I was very impressed with its appearance. I like the big screen and the fast processing of applications. The price of the phone is affordable compare to other phones of its size and processor. Since the time I purchased this phone, I was not able to make international calls, and I have contacted the service provider on several occasions to correct the problem, but all the reps told me they could not figure out what was causing the phone not to make international call when I have the service included in my plan. The provider reset the software several times in an effort to fix the problem, but it did not work. I went into a local store and explain the problem to the manager, who remove the sim card and placed it into his phone and was able to make an international card. With this problem solving technique, he figured that the problem was not with the network, but rather, the phone settings. There is a new setting call "Enhanced LTE Services", which is a HD Voice advanced communication program that works where it is available. This service was activated in the settings on my phone and prevented the international calls. The store manager deactivated the service and I was able to make calls internationally. This service is new and is not compatible with some international communication transmission. I love this phone for all that it does, and I would recommend to anyone.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from so good and my game boy case looks so rad.. So I can’t really complain this phone does everything you’d want , music, YouTube, live nhl games without WiFi, everything. Any bugs if I had to mention one would be the phones has kinda glitches on. E and froze like once or twice I guess I had too many apps on at once but a simple reboot fixed that oh and dual app split screen is great like texting and changing songs on the fly without switching apps them both open at the same time I really like that. Not all apps support it but basic apps do and that’s good enough for me. I like my phone I just paid my first payment and I totally own my ph now, no ph and plan payments

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Do not buy Horrible phone so far only had for 2 days and I do not like it at all. Speaker phone is very low, ring tone options suck they are all song jingles no basic ringtone options. Option to watch what's on your phone and mirror to tv using cable is not an option. Screen resolution is very dim and dark looking. Very sensitive to the touch it calls people from my contact with one touch as well as while I'm on the phone. And texting freezes mid conversation, navigating between apps is a bit different. Horrible device recommend sticking with LG, Samsung or of course iPhone, ZTE has been around for a while but has some serious catching up to do. Oh and the emojis look so generic.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Personal Favorite I've been waiting for this phone for the longest time! I had the ZTE Zmax Pro version on MetroPCS before, and I loved everything about it. I did some comparing, and they are overall the same good phone, except with Cricket having the newer processor, Nougat. Also, it has a 32G memory, which is what I've been waiting for Cricket to do, since most of their phones are 16G.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from It's OK I've been using this phone since October 2017. What first caught my attention was the incredible specs on such an affordable phone, but all that would change for the worse. The first month of usage was fantastic with no problems whatsoever. For this last month, my phone keeps freezing, the thumb print stops working, applications force close, and the audio jack continues on headphone mode despite the headphone having been removed from the jack. It stops working when I need it the most. The phone won't turn on when I need to access my bus pass. I am really disappointed with this phone. I give it two stars only because I like the screen size for whenever it does work.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Powers off by itself At first I loved this phone, I was ecstatic actually. The screen is huge and very sharp images and graphics, the camera takes phenomenal pictures. However, thats where it ends. The phone constantly freezes, and even powers off by itself. Customer reviews said the problem was fixed (which is why I made the purchase and it clearly is not fixed). Altogether just disappointed with Cricket in general for shoddy equipment. Only sticking with this service provider because its cheap monthly rates, other than that won't recommend this to anyone until they fix their equipment.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Fast and beautiful I was disappointed at first because the phone would lock up on videos and music. It appeared to not be a hardware problem but a software glitch. I contacted ZTE and checked the internet and found a board dedicated to this phone. There, along with a number of other customers complaining about the problem, was the fix. Simply resetting he cache had apparently worked. I've had the phone for three months, as a phone it is superlative. As a mini computer it is slightly lacking. I installed a 128 gig memory chip, use Bluetooth in cars, and use a Bluetooth keyboard when I want to get wordy. The battery last a long time and recharging takes no time at all. Long term we'll see how it holds up, but a real best buy right now.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Bad ram Had this phone for about 3 weeks now. Thing I notice is that it's a ram killer. You have 1.8 ram. And system uses 1.7 of the ram. Leaving you with just. 1 of running ram to work smoothly. Nope crashes all the time, hard restart.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing for the money! Bought this the day it came out, works great, no lagging and actually receive my calls and text unlike with the Grand X Max 2! Definitely an upgrade, Also really like the finger print unlock! Seems pretty durable, so far so good!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Nice phone but has a problem I've had this phone a week and I really like many of the features and the battery life is great. However, about once a day this thing locks up and the screen goes black and won't wake so I have to do a hard shutdown and reboot. The first time it happened was Day 1 when I tried to open the camera. Most of the time it locks up when I'm using the browser. I don't have a lot on this thing and it should not be doing this. Also, the responsiveness of the touchscreen is not great with a glass screen protector on. Even with the discount for porting my number I feel like I paid too much for the problems it has.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from DO NOT BUY! I loved the phone at first then it would restart on it's own all the time, for no reason. I'll be in the middle of typing a message and it would flip to another screen. Recently the screen started to lock up and since you can't take the battery out on these I had to wait until the battery died or restarted on it's own. Not to mention the battery is drained pretty quickly. Absolutely hate it! Should have stuck with an LG.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from pros and cons I bought this phone a couple days ago. The pros are it's big of course and the camera quality and video is good with taking pictures and watching videos, it has 32gb of internal storage but it takes 9-11 gb just to run the phone.. So you have about 20-23gb to do with whatever you want. The cons are it crashed on me the first day I had it. The other con is that I absolutely hate is when watching YouTube videos It will just randomly pause and you have to click the play button to keep it going this happen 3 times within a 6min video.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Better Faster, Pokemon Overall, this is a great phone. I bought it for the faster processor and larger storage than I had with my Grand Max. The only drawback is the battery drains a bit faster than what I was used to with the Grand Max. However, with the USB-C fast charging, you are back up to full charge in a flash. I have had a bit of trouble in Pokemon Gyms, but I knocked down a level-10 Gym pretty quickly - no jerkiness or hesitation in the game. Like the fingerprint reader for fast unlock. If you have all USB micro chargers - look for some usb-micro to USB-C adaptors. They are only $5 for three on the big name store. The edges of the phone are sensitive, so you are going to want a case to keep your palm from selecting stuff when you are using it one-handed.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Slow always freezing This was my second ZTE my first one was amazing but this one very disappointing I've had issues since I got this phone. The problem with the phone is the Android software runs waaayyy too high and slows the whole phone down I've tried everything to speed it up the only thing that ever works is factory reset the phone I have this phone for about 3 months and I've had to reset it 3 or 4 times now other than that the features are great but that really ruins everything about this phone even with the updates it makes no difference. I hope they fix this problem in the future. Planing on a new phone asap.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from ZTE Blade Max I bought this about1 1/2 months ago. It has been the worse phone ever. From the second day, it began freezing up, screen goes black, won't restart sometimes. The sound is not very loud. Will not stay connected to my blue tooth. I very much dislike this phone. I will never have another one like this. I'm going back to the Galaxy. Just didn't have the money at the time I needed this. Don't waste your money. Camera, front and back are not that good. Doesn't take good night photos at all.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice phone but two issues thus far I bought this phone on May 27, 2017 am pretty impressed so far but with 2 exceptions. Here it is, June 15th and my phone charger quit working already, bummer! I've noticed that my phone with not automatically switch from data back to WiFi once I return back home which I was under the impression it would like all my previous phones have. If I don't remember to manually set it back it stays on data which of course uses up what I have on my data plan, not thrilled!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not Happy I have now had this phone for 5 months. I thought I would learn to like it... but instead I dislike it more than ever. I had a basic LG phone before - and it was much more user friendly and stable. This phone blanks out (sometimes in the middle of navigating somewhere - a bit frustrating when you don't know which way to go). It restarts itself randomly - you might be using it at the time. I'm not a heavy user, I mostly use it for texting and navigating with Google maps, but it doesn't give me the options for notification tones, etc. that the LG did. Very basic in that way.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Locks up and reboots for no reason Had it a week. Have heard and watched it reboot for no reason. Once I wass out of the room and it was by the chair in the living room! Locks up for minutes at a time. Have tried clearing memory after each use. Pandora locks up or pauses at least twice during each song, given up trying to listen to it. Screen is nice but other than that....

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Literally the WORST phone EVER! I bought this phone to replace my ZTE Grand X Max, which I loved and worked perfectly except the sound quality on calls was poor, (turns out that is Cricket, and not the phone itself because this problem transferred over to the replacement as well). It has been glitchy and temperamental from day one!!! I've had it less than 60 days, and it crashes constantly, overheats, freezes, locks and is generally completely impossible to use for browsing online. In short, I'm ticked that I wasted $150.00 on this piece of junk and want my money back!!!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from phone does weird things and Cricket refuses refund Been a Cricket customer for over 3 years. Bought this phone online bc I liked the large screen and storage capacity. Plus it was recommended by a Cricket Agent. But... The phone has glitches. Even though my settings are set for no text notifications, I get alerted 2, or 3 times when a text arrives. I also get constant duplicates of texts both incoming and out. I have the Wi-Fi manager off but yet the phone constantly searches for Wi-Fi and interrupts everything I do. Espxially while driving. The talk to text only works when it feels like. I can't download iTunes without paying for it.
