Rated 1 out of 5 by from Dont waste your money on this top peiced zte Ive only had new phone for a few weeks and i bought 2 one for me and one for my wife. Ive owned all the older zte 6inch phones from cricket and have never had any problems and loved them. My wife has never owned a zte and i talked into getting the same phone as me and she hates it. Both phones freeze all the time and it wont let me do anything until battery dies since the battery can not be removed to reset. And it also randomly restarts by itself. Ive never had any problems with any of the old 6inch zte phones but this zte blade is garbage.very disappointed. With newvversions of a phone you expect a better phone than the last older version and learn and fix the problrms and dislikes from previous model and continue improving as newer versions are released.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from WORST PHONE EVER! this phone was awsful, i have owned zte phones for years now and would upgrade when the new one would come out but this time i regret it 3 days into the phone it freezed so bad i couldnt call or text on top of that it would heat up and the battery would drain so fast it was unreal. i was deeply dissapointed i had spent money on a phone i cant even use its so bad i dont use it at all only for emergency, you can play with the phone too long or else it starts to freez and you cant have more than one app open or it will freez to the point you have to shut it off and turn it back on and even then it sometimes shuts off. because i couldnt get to the cricket store before the 7 day mark i couldnt return it so i got stuck with a usless phone and money down the drain.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Worst phone ever I bought this phone 8 months ago and started having issues within a few weeks. If I type too fast the writing on the screen gets extremely large. It would stop working, I would have to power it off and on again. It would freeze up which is awful when using GPS. I sent the phone back, they sent me a reconditioned phone with even more problems. I called and they told me that I would get another reconditioned phone again. The Worst! The phone looks so good, but it's very deceptive! Don't buy!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Big vibrant screen, lots of memory I cracked the screen on my ZTE Grand X Max and had to replace it so I thought the Blade X Max would be a good replacement since its almost the same except for the fingerprint sensor on the Blade. The phone worked fine for about 2 weeks then it just died and I couldn't revive it. I was able to download a lot of apps and music which I like. It played videos, hulu , directv now crystal clear , I just hate i didn't get to enjoy it. Very dissappointed that I have to buy yet another phone within 2 weeks after buying this one.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from please I really enjoy this phone everything about it is solid but there's two issues I feel need to be corrected if you make a second version of this phone. One is the fact that when you're watching videos in 1080p or 720p60 the video will start to glitch and then the screen will turn black but you will still here the background video. Also I feel the back of the phone maybe should have been more grippier plastic without a case I dropped my phone the first day I got it I was going to the store to get it case but unfortunately the phone slipped out my hand. Other than that this phone is a beast Within disguised 6 inch screen with 7.1.1 you can't beat that for phone that's not a major flagship the price is up my alley and all in all I give this phone a solid 9 out of 10.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from ZTE BLADE My aunt bought me this phone Wednesday may 17,2017 I literally had the phone maybe an hour and wondered why no one was texting, not like my phone to be this quiet, well the next day after I text my friend and family and told them I got the phone the day before. I got 15 texts from Wed. Then went to cricket next day to tell them. They couldn't find anything wrong. Went to pick up my nieces birthday cake sat. Showed lady a last minute design to put on it then went to text my sister n law and the phone wouldn't come on. Yes it had a charge on battery. Took it back today Sunday 21st they gave me another phone same one. And guess what I'm going back tomorrow because this one has no freaking sound, everything else is OK but no sound. Volume up all the way. That's it I'm done I'm getting a refund. So no I don't recommend this phone. No more zte phones for me. Yes prior to this one I had the grand Max ➕ 2. That was a great phone.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Excellent phone for the price I would recommend this phone to anyone on a budget looking for a quality smartphone. The positives: The price point! I've paid much, much more for phones that haven't given me much better quality. Screen quality is fantastic. It's as good as the pricey smartphones. The phone operates smoothly. I wouldn't say it's 100% bug free, but it's on par with other Android phones. The system is easy to navigate. It's slightly different than other Android phones, but the different structure is fairly intuitive. Call sound is very good. It's clearest when you're calling another ZTE X Blade Max. It's not as good at blocking out background noise as the iPhone is, but it's good enough. The fingerprint detection is a little finicky during set up, but once your fingerprint is registered, it works excellently. I really like the placement on the back of the phone. I usually keep my phone on low battery mode at all times, and the battery power is really good if you're not playing battery-eating games all day. Two negatives: First, the camera quality is fine, but it's not excellent. I can live with a fine camera if that means I'm not paying the price of a new iPhone or Samsung Second, some of the apps pre-loaded on the phone are unnecessary, such as the flashlight app and the ZCamera. I'd recommend deleting those - after you use them, they add an additional lock screen that has ads on it. If you are not looking to use your phone to be a photography pro, then get this phone. I'm happy I did.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Failed after 9 days Phone was wonderful for 8 days. On the 9th day, all by itself, it began rebooting continuously. I got a replacement under warranty. So far the new one works, but now my wife's phone has stopped making or receiving calls. [same model, purchased 4 days after mine] I cannot trust this model phone to be reliable.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best phone cricket has I purchased this phone a week ago to replace an Idol 3. This is hands down the best phone that Cricket has. The display is great. The battery will last all day with very heavy use. The 32 GB of storage is unheard of in the prepaid market and Android 7.1.1 will allow you to format your sd as internal storage.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from too many ads This phone could be a great phone but we are getting way to many ads, if we could figure out how to get rid of the ads and be able to actually use phone normally we would love it, everytime you open it there's a ad, thinking of returning and going to another carrier and different phone! Very disappointed!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This phone is pretty much a Mini-TV This phone is where "bigger is better." The ZTE Blade X Max has met every standard Thayne had for it. The display is beautiful and would not be out of place on a 400$ or higher phone. The audio is clear and has a pretty loud Max volume. The processer for the phone is great and runs any app that I have perfectly. Both cameras take really high quality pictures and have a really auto focus on them. The size of the phone is big but manageable (especially for my pancake sized hands) All in all a perfect buy for me.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great phone @ a great price! With it's 6.0 1080p bright and colorful display, the latest Android OS, Nougat 7.0 out the box, multi-window {via nougat OS} 3,400 mAh battery with all day performance off one charge with quick charge if you need it and so much more I won't take time to mention. This phone is a must buy if you a good phone at an unbeatable price. Hands down the most bang for the buck in the budget phone market. It rivals the mid-range phone market. Only weakness is the camera in low light and the shutter speed. Moving objects in camera and video is c/c-. But seriously, people looking for a phone for every day talking, texting, YouTube and music, this phone CAN'T be beat for the price. $99.00 with a port-in or new service or $129 via upgrade. Camera is decent enough for the price. Also, the leasing program is great for a really tight budget, 90 days, same as cash. That's about $9.00 every two weeks for a new customer or $12.00 for an upgrade. I love my phone. Quality like a $800.00+ phone for about 7 X's less!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Freezes up too frequently From the first moment of getting this phone I wondered if it was 4G. Why? Because it runs slow. My Galaxy S5 was way faster than this thing. My phone was fine for about a week then it started with the freezing thing. You can't take the back cover off to access the battery. So I can't turn it off that way. So you just pray that it'll turn off by pressing the power button down as hard and long as you can. I've literally had this phone for a week and a half. I don't have problems with the videos not playing, yet! There are some pros though, the display is huge and crystal clear. Great for watching Hulu on. Love the camera for selfies and indoor use. Outdoor use kinda blows. Its not crisp and clear and a little grainy. But overall it's s decent phone. Just wish it wouldn't freeze.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Display and Battery Life! I bought this phone a month ago because I was tired of being charged for data overages and my iPhone with its updates every few weeks that slowed my phone down and killed battery. This is by far the best phone and phone plan I've ever had. I'm getting the same service as before if not better and this phone has surprised me in so many ways for being as affordable as it is! I stream and connect to the internet so smoothly using this device. The fingerprint reader is vastly underrated as well. Super pleased!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from FRUSTRATING!! Love the size.. Video display... BUT-This phone locks up WAAAAAAY too much! It constantly gets me lost while driving using the NAV system(it freezes).. ALSO- This phone overheats WAY too often.. Good try... Searching for another 6 inch Cell phone that performs better

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Total Junk. Pretty phone though. Was talked into this phone by sales rep. Has good specs but is really terrible. Crashes a lot. 3 system updates in first month still glitchy. Randomly closes screens, pocket dials, videos constantly stop on their own. Camera is ok. Screen is big and vibrant. OS or system software just doesn't work well with the hardware. Definitely not ready for primetime. LOTS of bugs to work out prior to release.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Phone I have been using the phone about a week now. Still getting use to the large size but I was well aware of this as it is one of the features I liked. Great battery life, fast processer, no complaints at this time. I still need to weed through some of the preloaded apps but no big deal. Awesome for videos. Smart case works pretty neat as the phone knows when the case is open or closed and adjusts the screen accordingly. You can answer the phone with the case closed and operate through the window. Cool.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing I bought this maybe a month ago. It's been an amazing phone so far. I greatly enjoy the camera. I love the finger scanner on the back. And so far it's done good when I've dropped it haha. It's just a great phone altogether so far.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Hard to love I have had my phone for only a couple weeks and from almost day one I am having issues... there have been times when the screen is non responsive.... adjusting volume, answering calls, etc. I have to turn screen off and open up again sometimes a more than once and eventually it begins to respond to my touch. The volume goes in and out frequently as well so I keep it uncomfortably high so when it drops suddenly I can still hear. The camera is nice, the phone is light and easy to carry.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Garbage Had this phone for 2 weeks. And its trash. I've had to factory reset it several times. Pandora and YouTube always stop playing every 15 seconds. Other apps crash. Waste of money and should have just went to a iPhone.
Date published: 2017-07-11
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very Solid for the Price I bought this phone a few weeks ago, and I love it! Scrolling through the UI is very snappy, loading apps, playing games, and surfing the web all feel laggfree and enjoyable. The battery life on this phone is great, the lowest I have every gotten this phone is 26% after somewhere around 6 hes of screen time with the brightness set to medium. Now if your a mobile gamer, then you should be fairly happy with this phone, I personally am a heavy mobile gamer, and I put my devices through their paces and this phone exceeded my expectations, I can play my favorite games like World of Tanks Blitz, Heroes of Order and Chaos, Yugioh Duel Links, Pokemon the Online Tag, and Hearthstone with no problems. You will hate to note though that after watching YouTube video at 720p or higher you have a 1/3 chance of having the video visual picture cut out on you. So to summarize, you are getting a very solid phone with great performance and a few minor flukes, bottom line is if you something that can do everything with only a few hiccups, get this phone it's just that simple.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from horrible phone I haven't even had the phone for two months and it broke, all keeps doing is restarting and Cricket refuses to help me all they keep saying I have to buy a new phone. HORRIBLE phone stay away from it.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from It is a pretty good phone. I've had this phone for about 4 months. The reception is as good as I have had on a phone. About a month ago, I noticed light leaking from the top right side of the screen. It turns out that whatever fastens the screen to the phone had came undone. It wouldn't be an issue except for the fact that it was a way for moisture to get in. Cricket helped me get the phone sent off today after confusion at the UPS store. I am expecting a new one on Wednesday, according to the representative.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from NOT HAPPY i got this phone for both me and my teen daughter. at first it was great. then we started noticing that it freezes...ALOT. Once while i was using my GPS to get to a location and we almost missed our appointment. Plus the touchscreen is so sensitive i end up pressing buttons while im on the phone or hanging up on the person im speaking to. i would return them but its so much hassle to find another phone and transfer everything and reset our apps. hopefully it will get better with time.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not the best phone but for money it will do. it does freeze up a lot and there is times when it doesn't work with the blue tooth in my car. it doesn't have a video chat program that doesn't require your contact to download app.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not such a good phone I bought this phone a month ago and it is very slow as far as me typing and searching the web and I have a unlimited plan sometimes it freezes out of nowhere and I would have to turn the phone off and back on it also shuts down on its own. To me it's not really a good battery saver my iPhone lasted longer. The only reason I purchased the phone because a worker recommend it to me I do like for it to be a big phone it's light the camera is great but besides that I wouldn't recommend it
