Rated 5 out of 5 by from Easy to use! Love it. I've had many phones, but this is the best! Even better than my IPhone. Much simpler to use and lots of memory. I'm glad I bought it. Worth every penny! I give it 2 thumbs up.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from I got a defective phone, lasts 4days WITH PROBLEMS IF I CUD GIV A ZERO RATING, I WOULD. MY WHOLE EXPERIENCE HAS BEEN SHOCKING & UNACCEPTABLE. --------------------------- MY PHONE WAS DEFECTIVE OUT-OF-THE-BOX, LASTED ONLY 4 DAYS WITH NO ADVERSE EVENTUALITIES OCCURRING ON MY SIDE, & CRICKET OFFERED ME A RECONDITIONED PHONE AS A REPLACEMENT. No, I want the new phone I paid for, and one that works this time. == Background == ============== I received this phone & put a pre-purchased tempered glass screen-protector ($$$) & case on it IMMEDIATELY right out of the box. Then I plugged in the USB-C charger which came with the phone to give it the best "first charge", and I immediately suspected that something could be wrong. The charging tip/port was loose, it did not fit tightly in the phone, it wiggled, etc... Because I never used a USB-C connector before, I thought, "Well, maybe this is just the way it's supposed to fit". Later when it was fully-charged, I activated it with Cricket... however, I found the battery depleted at an alarmingly fast rate even after a full charge, with no Bluetooth, no WiFi or no flashlight on. JUST TO LET U KNOW, IV OWNED TWO CRICKET ZTE "GRAND X MAX PLUS" PHONES BEFORE FOR YEARS, so I know how battery life on a higher-end phone is supposed to be... but this phone was different & deficient somehow... the battery life was very poor, & the USB-C charger always fit loosely RIGHT FROM THE START. I WONDERED IF I GOT A USED OR RECONDITIONED PHONE SINCE I ORDERED THIS FROM THE ONLINE CRICKET STORE. Ok... so I headed to Canada for a necessary trip RIGHT AFTER ACTIVATING THE PHONE, SAME DAY (& I had all the Cricket Canada-calling & roaming features on my plan). FOUR DAYS AFTER RECEIVING THE PHONE (& I'M IN CANADA NOW), the phone does not charge anymore & I'm left without a phone... 4 DAYS AFTER I RECEIVED & ACTIVATED THIS PHONE, ITS "KAPUT"... & NOTHING UNUSUAL HAPPENED, IT JUST WONT CHARGE... & now I'm in Canada and I can't do anything about it, cuz there's no Criclet stores in Canada. I can't even call Cricket, cuz I don't have a phone or know their service #. Immediately when I get back to the USA (a week after the phone wudnt charge) I contact Cricket. THEY OFFER ME A RECONDITIONED PHONE IN EXCHANGE. --NO-- I want a NEW Cricket phone THAT WORKS, like this one was supposed to work. You can't get any reasonable Cricket person (or supervisor) on the phone to resolve this with... ever. No one is empowered with the right level of authority to help you. SO I FOUND THE ONLY WAY TO DEAL WITH CRICKET IS THRU UR CREDIT CARD COMPANY. I reversed the charges on my Discover Card, & we are still awaiting resolution, which could take 30DAYS. GREAT. Iv gotta wait 30 days now for a working Cricket phone. This has been a most distasteful experience for me, from beginning to end. I'm "out" of the cost of a tempered glass screen protector ($15), AND my whole monthly plan amount ($70) AND i have to wait 30days to find out how this can be resolved, AND i **still** may just get a reconditioned phone in exchange for my new defective one. I COULDN'T BE MORE UNHAPPY.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Trust the bad reviews! I bought this phone 3 days ago. I figured I'd give it a try and not put too much thought into the other bad reviews. My son broke my last phone and I was in a pinch to get another phone. I bought this phone because it's very similar to my ZTE grand x max 2 and it fit the case I already have. The first thing I noticed was the call quality. I can barely hear people and it sounds like I'm echoing or in a tunnel. The people on the other end couldn't hear me either. Today I tried to take 2 pictures in a row and my phone froze and locked up. It wouldn't turn off then it wouldn't turn back on. Answering calls was very confusing and I accidentally declined calls for 2 days before I figured it out. The camera is good and storage is great once you uninstall and disable some apps. I don't like the reviews of the people saying they've only had the phone a few days, but now I see what the mean! Overall, I hate this phone and I've hated it since day one. I'll be getting the LG Stylo 3 when I take this one back tomorrow. Do yourself a favor and save the extra activation fee you'll pay when you take this one back! Go with another phone!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Inexpensive Product Long battery life. Great Quality. Great Features. Unfortunately I dropped it in water, still works but now the battery gets hot extremely fast and it glitches often. It's getting better due to cold weather in my are however I'm going to invest in another one soon as well as a outerbox case!! Recommended. Before the incident I literally would fall asleep on the phone for 7+ hours and it would still be on the percentage it was on when i went to sleep and the phone wouldn't be hot.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Screen durability is Horrible I was very pleased with my choice and the sales person said the screen was suppose to be very strong and had the the gorilla glass. Also was told it would go from dead battery to full battery in 30 minutes. Neither was true. Functionality is wonderful, but it slid off my lap to the floor and the screen shattered. Not happy with the "toughness" of it. I just chalked up the charging time to bad salesmanship and was OK with a normal charging time. With the screen, however, I wouldn't have purchased this phone if I would have known how fragile it truly was. I work with a lady who had the exact same phone through a different cell company and she had the same problem. I paid full price PLUS the upgrade charge when it wasn't and upgrade. The one I had before was more durable and worked fine, just a bit smaller.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from good for the price I decided to wait a month before I wrote a review. Coming from the iPhone family I was looking for something similar to it. This phone caught my attention because of its memory and it's size. It's bigger than the iPhone 6 plus which is what I had, but my biggest issue is the camera quality and the voice calls. I'm considering trading this phone to an LG and see how that will work out. Other than, everything else worked great and I love the network! Way better than Sprint.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Worst phone ever!! My husband & I purchased these phones 2 weeks ago. I should've known to return them both the same day. First my husbands phone locked & he couldn't swipe his screen, so we ended up taking it back & getting a new phone. That was just the beginning of our awful journey with these phones. Initially we were drawn in by the size, vivid screen, loud speakers & storage space, which were the ONLY pros to this phone. This phone freezes up at any given time, never stays connected to my Bluetooth in my car, horrible reception when talking during phone call and you can run more than 1 app without it freezing. It also powers off at any given time. I was use to bluetoothing radio & using GPS at the same time... Not with this phone. I was actually traveling (using GPS app) & the phone freezes when I was about to turn! OMG, I almost wrecked! It would be one thing if I only had 1 messed up phone, but no I have encountered 3 ZTE Blade X that were not fit to be used. I hate every day that we purchased these phones & were currently looking for new phones again. This phone made me realize how awesome my Galaxy Prime (previous phone) was. Please don't waste your money like we did.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from phone is horrible This phone was no good when it was taken out of the box, the 1st phone was so bad it was shutting on and off on its own and would never come on. that phone was still under warranty so here i am stuck with another same phone which was worse than the 1st one. power on and off on its own, freezes, cant see whose calling til min later when the phone is ringing, press power and the light does not turns on til seconds later, cant take pictures at night without phone freezing and saying night mode and that takes hours to come off phone then i will have to power off the phone. For the price that i have paid for this phone is not worth it. I would say do not get this phone never, ever, never. Like they say what looks good to you is not always good for you. wish i could just get my money back on this piece of junk!!!!!!!!!!!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Lacking in performance I bought this in the end of June. I've had better success with my ZTE Warp Elite for longer. It has problems connecting to Bluetooth in my car. If I go somewhere and use Bluetooth I have to take it off Bluetooth then back on for my stereo to connect to it. I often have troubles with it freezing. The fingerprint doesn't work very often. When I first programmed it it worked ok but it's like every time I touch it it gets worse. Glitchy phone. Not enough memory. The text messaging app is absolutely horrible. If I try to send a picture thru text it freezes up and I usually have to force stop it and send another way. It will NOT send videos. They always say they exceed space limit or something like that. The phone is bulky and calls are also not the best either. The battery life seems to be ok for now

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Too big! I bought this 4 days ago and hate it! Can't wait to take back. Screen so big that it triggers carpal tunnel symptoms. It's a great phone except for that. Excellent battery, apps, etc. Cricket staff said bring back with full credit & refund of the difference of a new phone. He recommended LG Fortune. Great service company! I'm staying with Cricket!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Phone for the price I've had the phone about 3 weeks now and it has been really great! I needed a new phone to replace my 3 year old Galaxy Grand Prime but didn't want to spend $800 or more on an S7 or S8. In doing my research for a few days the ZTE Blade X Max had everything I needed and had good reviews. I have not been disappointed at all! Battery Life and storage were my biggest concerns. The phone has 32GB internal as well as the ability to add your mini SD card to the internal capacity. Amazing camera for both front and back. Battery lasts even with heavy usage and has a huge screen with Dragon Tail glass and Finger Print Scan. So well worth it for the money! Audio and video is really good as well. The only reason I gave a 4 instead of 5 is I have had it get glitchy once in a while. But very happy overrall for the price.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from ZTE Blade X Max Overall very impressive with the product, especially considering the good price. Transferring from Iphone 5 to this one, the product is generally great. The screen is really amazing. However, have to admit that, compared with IPHONE5, the cameras are not that good, cell phone does fade out many times. some software can not be installed, not sure why. Of course, a new IPHONE is ~700$, even IPHONE SE now is ~250$. Have to say that IPHONE does not provide more robust phones, but I do not like it because it is so expensive, just does not really worth that much money. This phone is great in terms of cost, but not as great like IPHONE in terms of performance. It is just a trade-off between cost and performance. Of course, the 6" screen is really lovely. can not imagine to get 6" in IPHONE, must be something like more than 800$

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Garbage phone I purchased this phone 2 months ago. Dropped it once and the while screen shattered. Not a quality phone like the employees at the store promised it was. Not to mention all the problems I had the week after buying it from it randomly powering down to overheating while charging and constant app crashes. 10/10 do not recommend. This is the second phone that I pitched since May from cricket and honestly the phones are made cheaply and not worth the time or money

Rated 1 out of 5 by from HORRIBLE! DO NOT BUY This phone is horrible. Bought it 11/2017. FREEZES, randomly restarts, and poor sound quality. Storage is the only good thing about this phone. Tried to return on day 8, no refund permitted. Cricket warranty is terrible. Pay an additional $10 in order for them to mail you out a phone while they determine if your phone is faulty. Not worth it. Based on these reviews it wasn't just me. This phone is FAULTY, stop selling it. Definitely should be recalled.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Screen broke within a week My son picked this out for his birthday. He wanted a phone for watching videos and playing music. Graphics are great and he is pleased with those features. However, the phone fell off his lap while seated in a chair and the screen broke on a corner. Very disappointed in the lack of durability of the screen. I had purchased the phone case recommended by Cricket online. Didn't help. Had a Moto G before with gorilla glass. Wish we had upgraded to another Motorola.
