Rated 3 out of 5 by from Love it...Hate it I've had my phone for a few months. I got it free for porting my number to cricket. I've always had Samsung phones and love them. I didn't know how I'd feel about LG having the button on the back of the phone but as it turns out i like that feature on the LG. I liked that it has 16gb storage. After about 3 days i started getting an outrageous number of ads . i went in to find out how to stop the ads and got a message pop up saying the ads had been disabled but it may take awhile. Now it's weeks later and i still get pop up ads... If it weren't for all the many many ads I'd give it 5 stars...love the phone but hate the ads

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome Phone I done had this for about only a week and are enjoying the features and the use of it, it meets my expectations so far, I have not got no error yet about the storage memory cause I see it has 16GB internal storage memory compared to other phones that have only GB storage memory, coming from the Samsung Galaxy Amp 2, the LG Fortune is the best. Perfect phone for me.I like the FM radio that is on the phone. The camera feature is great so far, screen size is great for me so far. I am glad I got this phone for $0.00 by transferring my number over to Cricket Wireless as it was active. Overall great value, excellent phone.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great phone for the price. It is a very low priced phone. Doesn't mean you don't get great features though. Love the FM radio, they don't include that in expensive phones and it sounds great. The speed is good and isn't very laggy even though is a very basic cpu. The RAM is only 1.5 gig which works pretty well with the Android Marsmallow OS loaded on here. Camera isn't that great but again for the price is acceptable. 16gigs of space is great (9gigs actually usable) and you can get a cheap micro SD card for extra space. Screen is ok not that great. Is a little blurry even taking into account is 720p. For the price you usually get less ram and storage. Pretty good deal all in all for a basic phone.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fortune LG I bought this phone at the Cricket Store in Salina. So far I've had the phone for 3 days and I love it. It was free first of all, but it works like a champ. At first I was very scared of the quality and the efficiency of this phone, however, it has proved me wrong. I really enjoy i and it's easy to use. The camera is also pretty good too. I surely recommend this to someone who wants a good phone, but not sell their soul for it. =)

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good budget phone I wanted a good, reliable phone to do simple tasks ie- text, talk, and google. This phone fits the bill and does what it was designed to do. Durability is unknowned at this time. I've always used samsung and LG phones cc I think they are the best. The Fortune looks good, has decent screen, call quaiity is fine, speaker phone could be louder, battery last a long time and the phone does not overheat. Is it perfect - no. All phones have some problems. Bottom line - entry level phone that does a good job for the cost. Would I buy again? I have no idea. Who knows?

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great phone! I've had my LG Fortune for a few months now and am impressed with it. In my opinion, the best value of all of Cricket Wireless's free phones for ported numbers. Quick processing at 1.3 GHz, everything functions as it should, good storage coming in at 16GB internally. However, this IS an LG phone. This means that, yes, over time, the battery life and processing speeds will slow down unless you take action and download a phone optimizer from the Google Play Store, which is the only reason I give it four stars instead of five. I use "Speed Cleaner", also known as "Clean Master", and, thanks to this handy app, I optimize and clean the phone's memory daily, which enables the phone to act like it did the day I got it. LG, when are you going to make some...more memory-efficient, I should say, phones?

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great value, excellent phone Very impressed, high quality feel and function, rich colors on screen, excellent call quality, camera etc. and selfie light is a cool feature. I do not understand the negative reviews, the one I have works well in every way. And Cricket is sweet, the service is a breath of fresh air after being enslaved for years by another carrier.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Good budget phone but lacking in key area. I've had this phone for a month now and can say that it is overall a decent entry-level smartphone. There is sufficient memory for my use and I would classify myself as a light to moderate user of apps. The processor seems adequate enough. The camera is not very good as it generates a lot of graininess within the pictures. One big problem I've had is that the screen is not very responsive and can be sluggish at times, which makes it frustrating because you can't tell if you actually made a selection or if the touchscreen is just being wonky.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The best cricket phone iv owned I owned a Samsung Galaxy sol which for some reason didn't satisfy my urge for another LG phone after dropping my lg risio 2 in the toilet so I ordered the fortune which is a basic smart phone with more capabilities than the average basic smart phone the best part of this phone is the camera and the slim design I have small hands so though it's a larger screen it still fits nicely in my hands I also love the ability to be able to store more apps and pics without getting the sorry u need to delete some files message. I do recommend this phone

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Settings Change on Their Own I ported from Boost Mobile after 11 years. I HATE Boost. Cricket is awesome but this phone has issues. Please understand the phone is great for the most part. The camera & display is not that great. There is no sub menu to store apps, everything is on the homepage. I think all lower end LG phones do this. I change sound & notification settings several times a day because the settings mysteriously change to silent. I use Wi-Fi at home and my emails are slow to come in. I kept my old ZTE to use for music, internet, etc. Emails come in quick over Wi-Fi. In summary, I ported to get the free phone & leave Boost Mobile asap. The phone is not working like it should but if you have ever been with Boost Mobile you understand the issues I described are minor.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Seamless Transition I finally made the decision to go to an android phone and change services. Cricket Wireless made it easy by letting me know exactly what I was getting into. My new phone is perfect for me. I am surprised how easy it has been to transition from an ancient flip phone to my LG Fortune. I'm having a little trouble initiating texting... but I'm sure that will be short lived. I love the pictures I can now take... just wait till you see the green squares and you have a beautifully focused picture. I'm loving the email alerts.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from It's okay I got this phone a few months ago it was working fine got hot sometimes but I'm always on my phone so it was expected, well recently it started just restarting by itself luckily they have a one year warranty so I sent it in and am using a replacement phone that is exactly the same phone so it's okay it still gets hot sometimes lags, the picture quality is alright but could be better I like that the power button is on the back but I wish the volume was on the back too the battery drains fast and takes almost 2 hours to charge completely idk I'm just using it until I can afford something better.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Could be better This is a decent phone if you need something quickly and at a cheap price. The battery is extremely slow to charge! Picture quality is a joke, maybe its the screen because its not clear at all. However its good enough if you need something cheap and simple. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 3 out of 5 by from The Phone is fine I purchased the phone and a phone cover about a month ago. I received the phone with works just fine. But the phone cover was for a different device as well as a different color than the one I ordered. I had a very hard time getting customer service to understand and deal with the problem. I was told it would be easier to just order another cover and send the other one back instead of them exchanging it sending the right one I ordered start with so that's what I did.I still have the phone cover which I have not returned yet but I plan to do in the future and was very inconvenient.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from poor microphone, too small RAM i have had mine for about a month and finally decided that the free phone is just not worth using. Half the time when i call or receive calls, the other person can't hear me because of the static. I have 4 bars... And as a game device, 1.4G ram is too small to even launch some of my games on the data plan. I have to try and launch them from a wifi connection. The features are very bad too. It is difficult to turn off apps on the go. I have to relaunch the app in order to turn off the alarm. My overall impression is to wonder what cricket was thinking by having their free phone be such a poorly designed 1. It definitely creates a bad impression. Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great phone, but... I really love this phone! Its so easy to use, it has a great battery life. In not sure what's up with the neg reviews, but I'm loving this phone. Screen is a bit bigger than I'm used to. The ONLY problem I have is when it pops up ads for games it recommends that I should install from Google play. If someone can tell me how to take those off, then it'll make this review better.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good phone...Bad Popup I got this phone about 2 weeks ago and really like it. However, there are pop-ups integrated into the Flashlight app that comes with the phone. Delete that app and the phone is excellent. Plenty of storage for all the apps I use.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from New Smart Phone User Hello! I received this LG Fortune phone by mail very quickly and efficiently. I have never used a smart phone before, so this is a new experience. I have the phone all set up, but am unable to get a dial tone to call out. What good is a phone if you can't call out? This is the only phone that I have, btw, and there does not appear to be an online Chat to get help. The Cricket site is telling me that there is no phone number listed for the 612-513-2177 that I was given; Order number: 129038419. I can't get in; I can't get out. How do I deal with this? Thanks, Pam Phairas

Rated 4 out of 5 by from "Huge" Font Size Option At first I was disappointed that the screen on this phone was not 5" tall. Then I was informed about how to properly measure the screen which turned out to be less than 4 1/2". Now that I have had time to get accustomed to the size, and with the "Huge" option for font size, it is really a good size for me. I didn't like the calculator that came with the phone, but I found one and downloaded it so that took care of the issue. Otherwise, so far, it is a good phone and I like it.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from HORRIBLE Battery Life! Had this Phone for about 1 month or so. Phone is actually a pretty good device ESPECIALLY when you consider the price and how much even the older pre-owned flagship devices are still selling for. But for the life of me I can't seem to figure out why the battery life is so terrible. I'm pretty tech savvy so i'm familiar with keeping off unnecessary features when not in use..Wi-Fi, Bluetooth etc. Push data is on manual and so forth. I don't even have all the apps i would realistically like to have due to the battery life and overall speed of the phone with too many installed. Never have i ever had such a bad battery situation. It goes dead before 3PM every day. If you find yourself stuck needing a new phone, consider this one just make sure you get an extra battery. Oh and i wish LG had left ALL of the buttons on the back..cleaner more intuitive design that i've grown to love over the years.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Enjoyable in its Simplicity After having this product for over a month, I can honestly say that I am glad I did. The screen is deceptively large (making easier to see for an old guy like me). The phone is both easy and helpful in set up and customization. After which, I find its ease of use extrodinary. Why not 5 stars? The one hitch is that some of the un-necessary (un-useful) pre-set apps are hard or can't be gotten rid of. Thereby, taking up memory capaciity that could be useful later or in the future. But overall, this smartphone is enjoyable for the price range it can be gotten for. Rated 1 out of 5 by from Mr. Freeze Never seen a brand new phone work so slow and freeze so often. Impossible to play online games without losing it. However, its really cheap and i love the design. The performance was a huge let down. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent Phone I upgraded my phone about a month ago and went with the LG Fortune from my local Cricket store. I have had zero issues with my phone. I was able to transfer all of my contacts with no problems. I have surfed the net, downloaded movies, got my email and wirelessly copied some of my favorite music and photos from my home computer. I love this phone. The only thing I have run into is getting the bluetooth to pair with my SonicIQ receiver. It pairs okay with my other devices, including my vehicle, so I’ll figure out the Sonic thing. Have had no problems charging the battery. Makes me wonder what’s going on with some of the reviews. My experience has been totally positive. I am very pleased with it. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
