Rated 5 out of 5 by from I got this phone in October. I got the Fortune in October. It's the first-time I've ever had a cell phone and I just LOVE it. I'm 60 years old and never thought I'd like it. I got a great salesman who took the time to explain. He was very patient and answered all my questions. If you're looking for a phone that's easy to use this is the phone you want! You won't be disappointed. I may upgrade someday but for now I'm so happy with the speed, cleanliness of pictures, all the free apps offered I'm sticking with the phone and price package. I urge you to give the Fortune a try.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from WORSE PHONE TO BUY!!! IS A NO NO... MY SONS just bought me this phone I was so excited to get a new phone, because I love cricket their customer service is great. Unfortunately since I got it it has been given a lot of trouble. Volume is terrible, keep dropping calls and freezing up also people would call me and could not get through cos it would go right in to voice mail. I took it 2x in to a cricket store to get it fix but no luck, so had to get warranty claim for it. Now waiting patiently for it :o( . Not a good phone to buy!!!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not a durable phone I brought the LG Fortune 2 week ago. The phone case is slippy, not easy to grab tight while pressing the button at the back. As a result it is easy to drop from your hand. Finally I dropped it from about 4 feet height. The phone display was damaged. Not only there are cracks. Hundred of horizontal lines are flashing on screen and some of the lines are missing. You cannot read any info on screen any more. I have to buy a new one but not a LG phone. Rated 3 out of 5 by from Love it but.... Bought it the other day but going need return it. Within hours of purchasing it i noticed that so long the display is on the top third the whole phone gets hot.now a few days later it's still doing this and it's starting run slow. The internal memory is 16 gb but out of the box you only get about 9 because of the built in apps and system.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Garbage garbage garbage Bought this phone almost 2 months ago....2 days into it i started having trouble with the battery holding a charge or charging at all. Took it back to cricket. Guy gave me a new one no hassles. Cool right? Well so i thought. Here iam a month later with the same issues and the phone gets really hot and loses its charge even when its on charger. I give up at this point. From similar reviews pointing out the battery ive just used this as a learning experience. Never again will i buy another LG brand smartphone. All LG. phones suck. My wife had one several years back and she hated the thing and now i see why. Also another downfall....dont drop this phone whatever you do. Screen is fragile eggs.So now i have a shattered screen to go with my hand warmer hot box. Just in time for winter. Who knew?!?! Shrugs...oh well

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Very unfortunate phone I bought this phone a few weeks ago to replace my LG Escape. Loved that phone. It was fast, internet pages would load quick, call quality great, always full bars. This Fortune one, not liking it at all. It's like there is something keeping it from running properly. Everything internet related is extremely slow, typing text messages takes forever and I barely get 2 bars anywhere. I placed a few calls and person on the other end said they could hear me but I was breaking up. Due to these issues the battery also seems to be draining too quick. The phone took a lot longer to get to me, due to how Cricket delivers its phone, so I was without a phone for a few days. Finally get my new phone, only to find out it's a dud. Not happy that I now have to get another phone and again have to pay the activation fee. And based on other phone reviews I might be in for a useless phone again and wasting money. Cricket phones used to be good. What happened?!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My new phone My son bought me this phone and sign me up under his account,so far I really am enjoying the phone. Like anything else in life that's new,you need to get used to it. It's not hard to do with this phone. The thing that I don't understand about All phones I have found out,why do they not have a manuel or website that explains to you on how to set up the phone, what the features are for things like that where you can really enjoy the phone and understand how to set everything up,it explains some, but not really and why you need this certain thing to make all these other things work.Explain things like, what is data, why you need it,how to save pictures, how to set up ringtone, ect.,about security, what all the different apps are for, what you can keep our b what toolkit can delete, stuff like that! Not everyone has someone to help you and explain these things to you. To me,the more you understand what this features is for,the more you understand the whole phone. Other than that,Love this ☎

Rated 5 out of 5 by from simple 21st century phone Have had a few weeks. Dropped it a couple times and no cracks to screens but i do have a case. Does everything i need it to do without lagging like calls, msgs, good photos and video streaming. Battery is great. Fully charged it can last me two days but it does take awhile to get it to fully charge.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Disappointed The first week of owning this phone, it shut down several times a day for overheating. At 2nd month every call made or recieved gets dropped or other party is unable to hear me though I can hear them. I have had a few inexpensive phones and this one is the absolute worst .

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Ok ive had mine for few months and loved it until I realize you can't download any new fonts and use them... I personally like a change n with this phone its not possible. So I wouldn't recommend this phone unless you like sticking with the same fonts...

Rated 3 out of 5 by from I'd give it a B.... This is about the cheapest phone I could find. It is okay, but I wish it were easier to use. I am still trying to get the excess junk off it so it runs better. All in all, an adequate smart phone for the occasional user.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not 5G wi find capability I'm telling you all that this phone is not a smart phone, thus phone doesn't have 5G Internet access via Wi fi, the swipe function to use the phone takes about 6+ swipes... Doesn't come with a quick remote for my TV and air conditioning, and thus is the most important thing, IT ONLY has and comes with one factory battery ( which lasts about 1 day on about 10 hours charged with the phone powered off!!!!!!!!!!!!!.. Rated 1 out of 5 by from Find something else If I wanted a phone with no feature, this would fit my need. BUT, I didn't find out until after the contract how useless this phone really is. Even as a phone, it's pathetic. Short, very short battery life. Short range, you have to be almost standing under a tower to get a signal. And then there are all the adds, unwanted I might ad that keep popping up on the phone. Real annoying when you are trying to use it. I would give both LG and Cricket wireless a ZERO if they had that rating option.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from So Fast I bought this phone a month ago, upgrading from a lower quality LG phone and I absolutely love it! The only issue is the my WiFi randomly turns on, but to me that is not a huge deal.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from A decent phone for a promotional phone. The phone is good but service from cricket is questionable. I have a hard time make calls do to lack of signal strength . I'm not sure if it's the phone or the Cricket network.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from LG Fortune M153 Phone Review Happy I bought this phone, it works well for calls and surfing. Contrary to some reviews, I have had no problems with dropped calls or static. Battery life is long with all day use. Price was very fair for the quality of the phone. The only thing I did NOT like was some of the preloaded apps, I had to get rid of most of them due to pop up ads VERY ANNOYING ! ......that was a bad idea to install apps and ads like that on a new phone! YOU WOULD HAVE GOT 5 STARS IF IT WASN'T FOR THAT!
