Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Phone for a Great Price I bought this phone 2 weeks ago. It's my 1st Samsung and I'm glad I chose this phone. It's so easy to use, performance is awesome, I love the design & the size is perfect for my hands. The battery life could be better, but if you shut down apps you're not using it's fine. Overall, not a bad phone for $70.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from It's a Samsung! My husband's first phone w/Cricket was a LG Risio. His second phone was a ZTE Sonata 3. He didn't even have that one a month before he decided it wasn't a very good phone. So, he spent a little more and got the Samsung Galaxy Amp Prime. All I can say is you get what you pay for when you buy a $30 phone!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Awesome and affordable I really like this phone. More surprisingly, it comes with 6.0 marshmallow android version. It is light. The camera is great. Love the fact i can put a sim card in it. The price for the phone is amazing and the fact that it has similar features of newer samsung phones, priceless. Definitely worth it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great phone for the price I really like this phone. It has 16gb of storage with up to 128 gb expandable. Obviously there are some aspects that come with the lower price like a smaller camera but if you aren't into selfies then it should do just fine. If you want a great phone without paying 600 dollars then this is your phone.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I am pleased It has been awhile since I owned an android phone. I am very pleased with this one so far. I like that it allows me to make phone calls using my WiFi connection rather through the cellular service as I sometimes don't have many bars at home. The size of the device is not too big, and not too small.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Wish i would have read the reviews first... Bought this phone a few months ago. First off, the salesperson told it was a great phone. No, its not. The storage is okay. Camera is just ok. But every other phone call i made the person i called could not hear me at all. It was terrible. I am very disappointed considering how juicy i spent on it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from GREAT PHONE After my samsung Galaxy Active S6 was stolen, I got this one for while but its been almost 1 year since and I think I don't need to upgrade it. This phone has nothing to ask from the top performer phones. I can play, talk, access internet, whatch movies and do pretty much the same that s7 series.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Okay I guess I bought this a year ago my very first phone , and I'm gonna be honest this phone was awesome, at first then suddenly the touch responsive started acting up and the camera quality stared getting bad the apps are slower everything then , I want to switch to an Apple to see the many differences.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I am loving my new phone. I purchased this phone because my old phone just broke and the price was good. I love how fast it charges and how long it can hold a charge. It's clear, bright and easy to use. The only thing that is not great on this phone is the camera. It is a bit grainy. Other than that, it's a great phone

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Get what ya pay for I got the amp prime because it was cheap and I was wanting to see how the Wi-Fi calling works with cricket. So far the Wi-Fi calling is great and now I'm hoping that the amp prime 2 has Wi-Fi calling cause I'm tired of buying 500 to 600 dollar phones but the phone works great for 50 bucks

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Slow Operating System I bought this phone because I needed wifi calling capability due to not being able to receive a cell signal in my work building. Overall this is a good phone, I'm just use to the Galaxy SG 6 which is much faster. The camera clarity seems to be a little less clear on the Amp Prime as well.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Plastic This is the 1st cell phone I've had in 20 years that has cracks and rough spots all over. I had a Motorola phone for 5 years that looked better than this Samsung I've had for a year. Overall I like the phone but, I really have to think about the price I'm paying for such cheap plastic.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from It does everything i need it to Only had this phone about three weeks now. So far it's been great. I don't like the Pre installed apps it came with, they are really annoying and pop up all the time. As for the actual phone itself, it's a Samsung and it lives up to the many great Samsung's that I've had in the past

Rated 4 out of 5 by from It's ok I bought it a week ago. It's fast. Just small. The features are pretty cool. But the bad is the volume is low. And it comes with so many apps pre-installed. Other then that its good. Just small. Especially going from a ZTE. This is probably smaller thrn an iPhone 5s. Just saying.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Hit or miss to make or receive a call Just as the title states, i go to make a call and i wait .. and wait.. and wait. Receiving calls ive had several people complain that they cant reach me. My old phone did not do this. It is most certainly the phone. I still love samsung but this device here is next to junk.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Phone For The $$$$$$ Spent! This phone was the first Samsung phone that I have ever owned when I bought it after I switched service providers from Verizon Wireless to Cricket Wireless and I actually liked it a lot better than my previous phone that I had at Verizon Wireless which was a iPhone 4S. It worked like I though a Samsung phone would work which was great and like every other phone that I have ever owned in the past operating fast for the first few months and then slowing down. The size of the phone was a perfect fit for my hand and pockets because it is not oversized and too thin like a lot of its competitors. The features, operating system, front & back camera's quality, long battery operating life, fast battery charging and set up of this phone made it worth the $$$$ I spent getting it up and running and have no regrets. Downloading new apps was very easy and the all around set up of this phone is perfect for someone who wants a good phone that can take pictures, listen & download music, use for entertainment or work and can keep your life organized. What I did not like was how fast my storage space was eaten up making it hard to keep and save any pictures and once my 4G was used up for the month, it would drastically effect the speed of the phone so I upgraded my plan to fix it. Overall on a scale of 1-10 with 1 being a basic flip phone and 10 being a Samsung S7 Edge I would give this phone a 7 out of 10.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Awful phone This phone doesn't do what every phone is supposed to do: let you talk to the person you're calling. If they call you it works fine, but if you call them they can't hear you. I'm on my 4th replacement and all have had the same problem. Stay far away from this phone.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from nice phone, poor battery and storage I bought this when it first came out, maybe the newer phones are better. I only make a 1/2 day before the battery is depleted and even though most pictures are in as card this phone is constantly out of storage.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Reasonable price It's what you expect from a inexpensive phone. I have two complains: 1.The camera is very slow to take pictures. 2. Settings like keyboard do not work the same way as other Samsung phones, so there is a learning curve even though you are staying with Samsung.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from 50-50 chance of working We got two of these at the same time. My spouse's works well and the battery is long lasting. I, OTOH, have the problem mentioned by many--callers can't hear me when I call them. Also, the battery is horrid. In 6 mos I've moved on to an LG with no issues.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from More bang for your buck! This phone is a great phone considering the price was a fraction of what I would have paid for a Galaxy S7. I am happy with the performance and functionality. I would recommend the Galaxy Amp Prime to anyone who is looking for an affordable Galaxy experience.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from A great starter phone I recently switched to cricket from Tracfone and it was a wonderful decision. The plan is great, the coverage good, and unlimited text and talk is much appreciated. The phone was cheap, but the battery life is excellent and the features are all wonderful.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Phone Literally my only complaint about this phone is the keyboard and autocorrect. I have had a Galaxy S1 through S4, they were fantastic, smart and intuitive. This phone's spell check and auto correct use the English Language like it grew up eating lead paint chips. Additionally it's super slow. I have had to stop typing 11 times so far in this review to allow the keyboard to catch up. Please for the love of my mind release an update to make this keyboars not suck. Every time I type the word - admit- it auto corrects to vulgarity. It removes words that are spelled correctly and replaces them with gibberish. I have now had to stop typing 19 times. I am slowly slipping in to the grips of insanity. I want my S4 back. Please dont make me question my brand loyalty. Fix this moronic keyboard and you will continue to have a customer for life. I also wish it was nore intuitive with ambient lighting, the S series had an auto adjust feature that was very handy. But I can live without it. Literally everything else about this phone is fantastic!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This is an awesome phone My Samsung galaxy amp prime is so far my best and most favorite phone and even electronic product ever. It has every thing I need to use already in it. And it was in my price range. If I had one word to describe my phone it would be contemporary.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Can You Repeat That The phone is average but good for the price (I paid $99 a year ago). Huge problem is that callers cannot hear you, you need to have the phone literally almost in your mouth. Very annoying. Dee
