Galaxy Halo is rated 4.3 out of 5 by 197.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Don't regret it! I bought this phone a month ago. Before I had a LG Stylo 2 but after having a big phone such as that (comparable to the iPhone 8 plus) I'm very pleased with this one. It's not too big!! One thing, I use to have a Samsung Amp Prime and I have got to say, I have yet to have a phone with a better camera than that.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from so so I had my previous smart phone for 3 years and was very happy with it. However, there were some apps that didn't run on that version of Android and it seemed to be slowing down, so I decided to upgrade. This is my first Samsung phone and I have had it a week. The battery lasts about 2 days, depending on usage. The touch screen is sometimes unresponsive and it may take several taps to do what you want (my old phone was quick in this area, up to the end). The photos and video are good. The sound quality of calls is not. At Max volume, conversations are difficult to hear, as are videos and any other audio output. The phone provides 16 Gb of storage, but nearly 8 Gb is taken up by Android, Samsung and other pre-installed apps when you get the phone, so you have much less storage than you think. The only positive is that I can run the apps I wanted to run on the upgraded OS. I'm not sorry I upgraded, but I am not excited about my great new phone, either. It serves it's purpose.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good Value for the price! I came from using a nexus 5x manufacture by LG, paid three times one and half year ago, it broke 5 times on the last days, the battery last four hours. The Galaxy Halo has twice the memory, run faster, it does not have the tricks on the market, but for make phones, browse the web, stream videos, and have a generous amount of music inside, it is a terrific smart phone. It is light and good size to handle it with one hand and fit on your front pocket. The battery last for two whole days with regular use.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Basic okay phone I bought this phone two months ago and it has the basic features. The negative sides to this phone is the tiny speaker on the side, which produces a very low volume for text notifications and ringtones. Next, this phone has no message notification lights. .

Rated 1 out of 5 by from samsung echo Incoming calls immediately started to fade or no connection at all. Cricket would not refund my money.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not exactly what I expected... I currently own a Samsung Note II and assumed the Halo would be a better phone as it would have many upgrades compared to my old Note. I never used the Note part of it so I knew I wouldn't miss that, however, my old phone does so much more than the Halo is capable of. I think if I had the chance to try before I bought I would have chosen a different model. One of the things I miss the most is my old phone had a flashing light on it that alerted me to voicemails, emails and low battery - the Halo doesn't appear to have that feature. As for battery life it is superior to my Note II and because the OS is version 7 I can run apps that wouldn't run on the Note. Still wish that I could have upgraded the OS on my old phone....would have saved money and I would not have needed to upgrade the handset!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great phone I bought this phone for more storage space (previous phone had 8G) after downloading all my previous apps and additional ones, still have a good amount of space left. Camera takes great pictures too!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good battery life. All the apps you need. I have had this phone 2 weeks. I am impressed. I have had a windows phone for 2 years. Switching back was easy. The Samsung Halo is easy to set up. fast internet. So far I like everything about it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great phone. Easy to use. Impressed Phone went on sale the following month I bought it. Great pixel. Lightening fast speed. Just wished I waited to see it go on sale from 179.99. To 79.99. Rather buy this than an Apple X

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I'm impressed The phone is much better than I thought. The features are really good. I was able to download 17 of my most favorite apps and I still have storage space to download more apps. Phone is very fast and easy to use, takes great photos and excellent videos. Also the battery life is the longest running best battery for a cell phone I have ever had. It runs all day, even when I'm on it most of the day, I can say so many good things about this phone but you'll have to find out for yourself.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Low Internet Signal I like the phone but I have low internet signal all the time and when I try to watch movies it's very blurry and I had a simple $40 LG phone before and had no problems so surprised that a $200 phone would not work as well as a $40 one

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great midrange phone Just overall a great phone. Battery lasts me almost 2 days. Nice performance speed. Gives you a decent phone without the big price tag. Beats my old LG Power at everything.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Halo Rocks! Love the Halo! Very fast little machine with 8 processors inside. Never gets hot. Beautiful screen. Pretty easy to set up and get up and running in no time. Only disappointed is can not get the unlimited data plan because Samsung does not support it yet. I was told that they are working on it but I don't know if they're going to grandfather it in on older phones or not. Other than I think I'll always stick to Samsung cell phones now on and of course Cricket.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Samsung Galaxy Halo It's an okay phone, features and space could be improved. Overall it's a good phone. More gbts and storage would make it even better, and the data processor could be a little faster.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from OK Phone It's a good dependable phone with poor camera qualities and very little 16GB memory, unless you get the 32GB version at an expensive price!! The processor is among the best for Crickets line of phones at 1.6 GHz. The battery life is excellent! If you don't mind the camera or the low memory, it is a good phone to buy!! Good luck!!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Samsung Halo I would give this phone five stars if there weren't so many unwanted commercials. Other than the excessive commercials, it functions just like my Samsung tablet. To reduce the commercials you have to pay for it.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Ok, but not great. I got tired of being screwed by Straight Talk so I switched to Cricket. First, I loved my LG Stylo 2 from ST. Cricket couldn't get it to work although it was unlocked. Now for this phone, very basic. I hate all the steps you have to go through just to turn mobile data on (which I usually have turned off). Also wish it had a notification light. Plus, it is an ugly phone. No problems with it though.
