Rated 1 out of 5 by from Terrible I recommend this phone for the buyer who does not take pictures or download apps. Kind of wish I would have replaced the cracked screen on my previous phone. Simply the worst possible purchase ever with Cricket

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Beware: Very, very small memory This phone is quite terrible. I have had constant issues with the memory issues that lots of people have reported and I wish I had seen them before I bought it. The system memory takes up a great majority of the available space: Out of 8 GBs listed, 4.67 GB is used by the system memory. Part of the problem is that you have both mandatory Samsung and Google apps. I have four apps on my phone that I downloaded for myself and they take up 99.32 MB. I thought that I might be able to expand the memory and purchased a 32 GB memory card, but unfortunately, the only things that can be saved to that are music and photos. I think I have only had one app that could be saved to the SD card and it was a very roundabout process. On top of that, whenever the app updates, the phone would default to storing it internally. Also, there is an issue with the mandatory "Gallery" app where it has an error saying, "Unable to open app" every time you try to open it, so no luck showing anyone the bad pictures I take because of the terrible camera (both front and back.) I cannot wait to get another phone as soon as I can.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Good but basic Wi-Fi good and phone etc. Camera isn't good enough for me to deposit checks using my bank app. Internal memory is too small and most apps won't use SD card.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Need a phone and 2 apps, this phone is for you. I bought this phone two weeks ago and because I quickly threw out the box and all the contents, I was unable to return it. Why did I want to return it? Phone storage. While it's cited as having 8GB of internal memory, around 4GB is used for OS/bloatware/etc, so usable memory 2.4GB or so. I only wanted three apps - Facebook, Facebook Messenger, WhatsApp. This took all the memory and left only 256MB free. The phone would refuse me to take or view pictures. With this, I thought "I got a fix for this thing!" and bought a 32GB MicroSD card. Guess what didn't do anything with it? This phone. It would allow me to drop pictures but I was still having crashing/memory issue when launching my apps. If it's a phone for someone who doesn't need a bunch of apps and really just wants a basic quality-built smartphone, this is it. If they get app-happy, they'll come back to you and complain, complain, complain. I ended up buying the Alcatel OneTouch Flint with 16GB. Good build quality, works with all my apps (after installing the updates I got hit with at startup) and would definitely recommend the Alcatel phone for someone who's got a bit more app needs.
