Fighting for Customers Means Giving Them More for Less

    At Cricket, we constantly look for new ways to fight for new and existing customers and excite them with offers that raise the bar of excellence in the prepaid wireless industry.

    The formula is simple. Give customers more for less.

    Last week, Cricket launched another compelling reason for customers to make a smarter wireless choice.

    That choice gets them 275,000 more square miles of 4G LTE coverage for less than they are paying today for an unlimited wireless plan with T-Mobile.

    The new Cricket Unlimited Plan includes all the talk, text and high-speed data you can use on one smartphone line for $65/month after a $5 Auto Pay credit. That’s $25 less than what the same customer would pay for T-Mobile’s unlimited plan*.

    T-Mobile customers, who make the switch, get a $100 switcher credit. Customers who join from other competitors get a $50 switcher credit.

    They simply deserve better. Our new plan gives customers a pathway to join our more than 6 million loyal and happy subscribers.

      This campaign is important. Lately, our competitors, like T-Mobile, have tried to stake claim to our value proposition of transparent pricing.

      We’ve called them out in national conversations and educated their frustrated customers.

      We’ll continue to stay aggressive on this front. Here’s why. 

      As AT&T’s fighter brand, we are in a position to ensure that the transparency we’ve ushered into the prepaid wireless industry maintains its integrity and true meaning.

      Cricket introduced service rates with monthly taxes and fees included, alleviating the frustration that comes with unpredictable phone bills at the expense of hard-earned dollars.

      The Cricket Unlimited Plan is an example of us stepping up the fight for wireless customers. We’re reinforcing our better value over T-Mobile and telling customers about it in the simple, friendly and transparent voice that has set us apart from the competition.

      We invite T-Mobile customers to join a network that covers 317 million people and has 275,000 more square miles of 4G LTE coverage. That’s more than 71,000 times the land area of Bellevue, WA where T-Mobile headquarters is located.
