The Salvation Army and ZTE Helped Us Share Santa’s Secret Number

We visited The Salvation Army in Los Angeles recently to bring holiday joy to some families in need. In an elaborate setup, we gave children at the Westwood Transitional Living Village a direct line to the North Pole and invited each to call Santa’s head elf from a ZTE phone to share their holiday wishes.

Behind the scenes, Cricket and Salvation Army elves fired up their phones, relayed the wish lists to a local mall, secured gifts, and transformed the Salvation Army’s common room into a winter wonderland – done entirely while the kids and their families enjoyed a movie right down the hall.

We captured all the touching moments on video and shared via our social media channels today, Nov. 29. Watch the joy unfold as kids receive bikes, toys, games, and more – and parents open gifts of brand new ZTE Grand X4 smartphones.
