About the $70 Unlimited Plan

Our new $70 Unlimited Plan offers unlimited talk, text and data - in and between the U.S., Mexico and Canada - on a bigger network than T-Mobile. And after a $5 Auto Pay credit, it's only $65/month for one smartphone line. Learn more about our new $70 Unlimited Plan.

Is the Mobile Hotspot feature available with this plan?

Not at this time.

At what point do you begin slowing data speeds under the new unlimited plan?

With the Unlimited Plan, you'll receive a high-quality mobile experience from the start regardless of how much data you use. As with all Cricket plans, download speeds are up to a maximum of 8 Mbps for compatible 4G LTE devices and 4 Mbps for compatible 4G devices. As always, actual speeds may vary by location and device.

Is the Auto Pay Credit available with this plan?

Yes! If you sign up for Auto Pay, you'll receive a $5 bill credit applied to your account a few days before your billing due date. If you sign up for Auto Pay at checkout, or as a current customer within 7 days of your due date, you'll receive the Auto Pay credit starting with your next month's billing cycle. Please note that the Auto Pay Credit is not available for accounts receiving a Group Save discount. View more Auto Pay info.

Is Group Save available with this plan?

Yes! You can save up to $100 each month when you have 5 eligible lines on your account. For example, if you have 5 lines on one account and all lines are on the $70 Unlimited Plan, you would pay $250/mo instead of $350/mo with Group Save discounts. View more Group Save info. Please note that the Auto Pay Credit is not available for accounts receiving a Group Save discount.

What if I'm in the middle of my billing cycle? Can I change my plan without paying full price?

Yes, of course. You'll just need to pay the difference. When you make a plan change, we prorate the charges for the rest of your billing cycle, so you'll only pay for the days you use the service. View rate plan common questions.

How do I change my plan today?

That's easy! You can sign in to My Account online to change your plan. If you don't have a username and password, it only takes a few minutes to register using your Cricket phone number. You can also swing by your local store or call 611 from your phone. See how easy it is to change your plan.

If and when you discontinue the plan, will current users be grandfathered in?

Yes, as long as you remain a customer in good standing on the grandfathered plan.

Cricket's network is bigger, but I heard it's slower. Why should I switch?

Cricket's network is not only bigger, it's more reliable and has more 4G LTE coverage than T-Mobile, MetroPCS, and Sprint. Cricket customers enjoy a great experience at our current data speeds, plus they get more reliability and depth of network as an overall package compared to T-Mobile. Our network provides data download speeds of up to 8Mbps for compatible 4G LTE devices which is more than sufficient for surfing the web, playing games, watching movies, etc.

You talk a lot about the network, but Cricket caps speeds at 8Mbps - how can you compete with T-Mobile there?

Our 4G and LTE data speeds and network reliability work well and we have more 4G LTE coverage than T-Mobile, MetroPCS, Sprint or Boost.

Do you plan to offer a data-only plan, like T-Mobile?

Not at this time.

T-Mobile offers a lot of things Cricket does not (such as videos, tablets, etc.) - will Cricket start offering the same?

Cricket offers what prepaid customers really care about - a bigger more reliable network at a great price. We also offer Deezer, a premium music feature that has a huge library of over 40 million tracks! And don't forget our premium lineup of smartphones from brands like Samsung, HTC and LG.

Does streaming music via Deezer count toward data usage?

Yes, but Cricket and Deezer worked to design a premium music service that is data efficient, lessening the impact on data usage.

Is a Cricket service plan compatible with an AT&T bundle? For instance, if I have an AT&T Mobile, U-Verse and Direct TV package, can I swap out my AT&T Mobile for a Cricket plan?

This is not available today.
