Unlimited Cell Phone Plans FAQ
With the Cricket unlimited plans, you’ll get just what you need – unlimited talk and text, data access, no annual contracts, multiline discounts, a variety of add-on features and much more. For the Cricket Core plan, Cricket may temporarily slow data speeds if the network is busy.
The Cricket More Plan has premium data, and includes HBO Max with ads, 150GB Cloud Storage and 15GB of Mobile Hotspot (req’s compatible device).
We like our network big and our price small! Cricket Core and Cricket More offer unlimited talk, text and data - in and between the U.S., Mexico and Canada (Canada usage cannot exceed 50%.).
Yes, Mobile Hotspot is available as an add-on feature with the Cricket Core Plan and is limited to 10 GB each month. After 10 GB of hotspot usage, hotspot data speeds slowed to max of 128 Kbps for the rest of bill cycle. If you have Cricket Core and purchase the Mobile Hotspot feature, you will be able to check your Mobile Hotspot data usage separate from your phone's cellular data usage. Mobile Hotspot requires a compatible device. Check device eligibility.
The Cricket More Plan includes 15GB of Mobile Hotspot. After 15GB of hotspot usage, hotspot speeds slowed to max of 128 Kbps for the rest of bill cycle. Compatible device required. Check device eligibility.
Yes! If you sign up for Auto Pay, you'll receive a $5 bill credit applied to your account a few days before your next billing due date. If you sign up for Auto Pay at checkout, or as a current customer within 7 days of your due date, you'll receive the Auto Pay credit starting with your next month's billing cycle. Multiline and Promotional Discounts FAQ
As an existing Cricket customer, you too can enjoy the 4 for $100/mo offer if you have four lines on the Cricket Core Plan. You can do this by changing your plan or adding additional lines. The Cricket Core Plan is required for all lines on your account.
Here's how the discounts work on the Cricket Core Plan:
- 1 Line - $55/mo (no discount)
- 2 Lines - $80/mo ($30 discount)
- 3 Lines - $90/mo ($75 discount)
- 4 Lines - $100/mo ($120 discount)
Discounts are automatically applied after eligible plan changes are made. However, these discounts won't show on your bill until your next billing cycle.
Yes. You can get discounts by changing your plan or adding additional lines. The Cricket More Plan is required for all lines on your account. Discounts are available for lines 2-5. Here's how the discounts work on the Cricket More Plan:
- 1 Line - $60/mo (no discount)
- 2 Lines - $90/mo ($30 discount)
- 3 Lines - $110/mo ($70 discount)
- 4 Lines - $130/mo ($110 discount)
- 5 Lines - $160/mo ($140 discount)
Discounts are automatically applied after eligible plan changes are made. However, these discounts won't show on your bill until your next billing cycle.
Existing customers can schedule plan changes to take effect at the start of their next billing cycle. Just be sure to change each existing line in the order the lines appear on your Account Summary:
- Log into My Account, select Manage Plans & Services, then select the first phone number listed on your Account Summary. Note: When you log into myCricket, you will select Manage Your Lines.
- Select Change Plan, then pick the Cricket More or Cricket Core and Select Plan.
- Schedule your plan change to start on your Next Billing Cycle, review your changes and select Next. Submit your order.
Now change your other 3 lines in chronological order, repeating steps 1-3 until all 4 lines are changed.
That's easy! You can sign in to My Account online or myCricket to change your plan. If you don't have a username and password, it only takes a few minutes to register using your Cricket phone number. Yes, of course. You'll just need to pay the difference. When you make a plan change, we prorate the charges for the rest of your billing cycle, so you'll only pay for the days you use the service.
