- Online: If you are purchasing your phone online, you can add Cricket Protect as a monthly feature to eligible phones during checkout. You can also sign up for Cricket Protect online within 7 days of activation in My Account online or via the myCricket App.
- Log in to My Account online. Under Your Lines, select the line you'd like to enroll in Cricket Protect. Then under Features, select Add Features.
- In the myCricket App, tap your line from the home screen. Tap Manage Features and then tap Add-On Features.
- In Store:
- Simply add Cricket Protect at any Cricket Store at the time of purchase, or within 7 days** of buying your new, eligible Cricket device.
- If you bought your new, eligible Cricket device at Walmart or another non-Cricket retail store, bring your phone and a copy of your receipt to a Cricket Store. You must bring your phone within 7** days of activation.
Cricket Protect: Includes Cricket Protect Insurance and Cricket Protect Service Warranty. Cricket Protect Insurance is insurance coverage underwritten by Continental Casualty Company, Chicago, IL, a CNA company (CNA), and administered by Asurion Protection Services, LLC (In Iowa, Lic. #1001002300, in California, Asurion Protection Services Insurance Agency, LLC, CA Lic. #OD63161, in Puerto Rico, Asurion Protection Services of Puerto Rico, Inc.), a licensed agent of CNA. Screen Repair: $29 deductible applies. For Cricket Protect only, each screen repair will be accounted for in your claim limit. Limited to eligible devices in select areas. Same-day repair option depends upon claim approval time and technician availability. Repairs are performed by an Asurion-certified technician and come with a 12-month warranty. Repairs may use new or refurbished parts; may contain original or non-original manufacturer parts; and may void the manufacturer warranty. Some colors of eligible devices are not covered.
