What devices are eligible to bring to Cricket through BYOD?
You can bring wireless devices such as smartphones, smartwatches, tablets, hotspots, and laptops purchased from other wireless carriers (AT&T, Verzion, T-Mobile, etc.) and non-Cricket retailers (Amazon, Target, Walmart).
You must purchase a voice plan for your smartphone and a data-only plan for any other device-type you bring. Keep in mind that only select Cricket network compatible BYOD devices are eligible.
Does Cricket have any deals if I bring my own phone or device?
Yes! We have multi-month plans exclusively for customers that want to bring their phone to Cricket. If you’re someone that prefers to pay in advance and save, you can choose between the 12-Month Unlimited and 3-Month Unlimited plans.

Can I bring more than one phone or device when I switch to Cricket?
Of course! You can save up to $25 per line when you switch to Cricket. Each device must be unlocked and compatible with the Cricket network. You can check the compatibility of each device using the Cricket compatibility checker.
How do I add a line of service and activate a phone or device I want to use on the Cricket Network if I’m already a customer?
As an existing customer, you can add a line of service by following these easy steps:
Check your device IMEI to check your device’s compatibility.
Once you receive the compatible message, select Existing Customer to sign into your account, then follow the remaining prompts.
Note: If you decide to bring your phone number, you'll need your current wireless account number and Number Transfer PIN.
Can I bring my number to Cricket?
Of course. New and existing customers adding a line can transfer your current number. We advise you to keep your current service active until you receive your physical SIM in the mail or eSIM digitally.
What do I need to bring my number?
You will need to have the following to being your number transfer.
An active number
Current wireless account number
Number Transfer PIN
Social Security Number (last 4 digits)
Billing ZIP code on account
