How do Affirm monthly payments works?
Customers can apply during the Cricket checkout process. When purchasing a device or accessory using Affirm, the total due will be presented upfront, and Affirm will pay that amount. Customers split their payments over 3, 6 or 12 months, making payments directly to Affirm.
Does using Affirm affect my credit score?
Affirm is intended to help you keep your budget in balance. When you apply, Affirm will check your credit history, but the eligibility check will not affect your credit score. If you decide to purchase with Affirm, your choice of loan and payments may impact your credit score. For questions, visit affirm.com/help.
What does the Affirm loan cover?
Your Affirm payments will be applied to the cost of your device(s) and accessories, as well as your initial Cricket service charge. Subsequent monthly service charges for wireless plans and features cannot be paid through Affirm. Instead, they must be paid directly to Cricket by credit or debit card, Cricket Refill Cards, Service Payment Cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Samsung Pay, or cash. Read more about bill pay methods.

Cricket Protect and Cricket Protect Plus device coverage can not be purchased using Affirm. If you have Cricket Protect in your shopping cart and select Affirm at checkout, Protect will automatically be removed from your cart. You can add Cricket Protect or Cricket Protect Plus within 45 days after activation using My Account.
Affirm cannot be used to sign up for Cricket Auto Pay.
How do I sign up for an Affirm account?
- Find the device you want. Select Add to Cart.
- Choose your monthly cell phone plan and decide whether you’ll bring your number to Cricket or get a new one (if applicable).
- Select Check Out.
- In the Payment Info section, choose Check Out with Affirm.
- Follow the prompts to seek financing approval from Affirm, and accept the Cricket terms and conditions.
- Complete your purchase.
