Motorola and Progressive Leasing Foundation Join to Help Spread Even More Smiles
What’s the news? Cricket Wireless and Boys & Girls Clubs of America have teamed-up again to give families a reason to smile during this year’s holiday season through Cricket’s annual 12 Days of Cricket holiday giving campaign. The campaign, which launches November 14th in conjunction with World Kindness Day, is getting an extra show of support this year from Progressive Leasing. Together, Boys & Girls Clubs youth and their families from across the country will be surprised with gifts valued at more than $140k.

Additionally, Motorola is helping spread the holiday cheer more broadly with the 12 Days of Cricket Sweepstakes. Beginning November 18 through January 5, 2023, consumers nationwide will have a chance to win $2,000 and a moto g stylus 5G each week by scanning a QR code in Cricket Wireless stores.
Why does it matter? Together with Boys & Girls Clubs of America, Cricket wants to make a difference in the lives of families by providing gifts and support to help ensure their health and happiness during the festive season.
With a mission to help all young people reach their full potential, Boys & Girls Clubs provide safe places, caring mentors and life-enhancing experiences to kids and teens across the country.

“We know youth can achieve a great future when they have access to the resources and support they need,” says Jim Clark, president & CEO, Boys & Girls Clubs of America. “We are grateful for Cricket Wireless’ dedication to providing new opportunities to help youth and their families thrive this holiday season and beyond.”

Why is Cricket Involved? Cricket is committed to building healthy human connections for happier youth. Through initiatives like 12 Days of Cricket, we can support young people and their families by fostering kindness and providing resources to inspire smiles throughout the holiday season.

“We are excited to team up with the Boys & Girls Clubs of America to celebrate the 12 Days of Cricket holiday giving campaign,” said John Dwyer, president, Cricket Wireless. “This campaign is an inspiring way to give back to our communities, and our annual collaboration between our authorized retailers and the local Boys & Girls Clubs is a great way to celebrate and bring smiles to these families.”

What else? Cricket and Boys & Girls Clubs of America renewed their annual agreement for the 2022-23 academic year. Both organizations will work together throughout the year in five key markets Atlanta, Boston, Los Angeles, New York, and San Francisco. The initiatives for this year will focus on increasing and maintaining teen membership in Boys & Girls Clubs through college and workforce readiness programs.
